What an honour it is to have this place to create my interpretation of Leon's great classic..Thank you, YouTube, Leon Russell and The Shelter People. I had planned to do this video during Christmas and before Epiphany. Because of some pc issues, I was unable to do so. I have wanted to do this particular song for a long time, as this Leon Russell classic remains close to my heart..I can still sing a long word for word. My friend, Vickie Burns ~FavoriteTunes2009~ had posted this song a few years ago when her husband, Michael created a similar interpretation...somehow that video has been lost...so, with their permission, I decided to bring it back...thank you for the inspiration, for I too, always thought of Jesus and our daily walk to fulfill our purpose somehow, and what is really going when I heard this song. I get some negative feedback when I include images of Jesus in so called secular music..I am not looking for controversy or seeking opinions about whether I should do this or not...This is a place to produce my own interpretation...some will agree, others will not..Life is a personal journey..I just choose to share what God has shown me. If you do not like this or get it..please move on. Created by Luke Norby and Brian Adrian Koch The video for "Stranger in a Strange Land" features landscapes found in Nome Alaska where there are no indigenous trees or mountains within plain sight. Film maker Luke Norby, along with the help of Blitzen Trapper drummer Brian Adrian Koch, compiled a series of Norby's incidental shots including shivery hand held pans in 20 below zero conditions and segments from a sweeping driving shot that Norby shot from the back of a truck in 2010. Nome is known for housing the finish line to the Iditarod or "The Last Great Race", an 1100 mile race across the length of Alaska. The video also includes intermittent overlays of Singer//Songwriter Eric Earley along with a glimpse of the final mile from the 2010 Iditarod final finisher AKA "The Red Lantern" and cameo by captain Jack and John Boyles walking out into the frozen Bearing Sea. This is the first time 30 Seconds to Mars played SIASL live since it was written and recorded. They did a fabulous job, I think. Just so you all know, I'm NOT going to tolerate negative comments towards people in the audience. When Jared asked people if it was their first show, the majority yelled yes, so I'd give them a break. I remember how I excited I was at my first concert, and so should you. The show was at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH on December 19, 2009. The video was taken from the first row, so naturally everyone is on top of each other. I apologize for the fact you can hear people singing along and the loud screaming. I in no way own anything in the video and wish to make no money from it. It was recorded for the enjoyment of others and for memories only. The band 30 Seconds to Mars owns it all. Remember, give me 5 stars (or 4's good too, lol)!

Food for Thought is an Iron Maiden tribute album with a slightly different take on the bands music.
