Steve Winwood - Higher Love
Steve Winwood - Higher Love Here are the lyrics again incase its too fast/slow. Think about it, there must be higher love Down in the heart or hidden in the stars above Without it, life is a wasted time Look inside your heart, Ill look inside mine Things look so bad everywhere In this whole world, what is fair? We walk blind and we try to see Falling behind in what could be Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Wheres that higher love I keep thinking of? Worlds are turning and were just hanging on Facing our fear and standing out there alone A yearning, and its real to me There must be someone whos feeling for me Things look so bad everywhere In this whole world, what is fair? We walk blind and we try to see Falling behind in what could be Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Wheres that higher love I keep thinking of? Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Bring be a higher love I could rise above on a higher love I will wait for it Im not too late for it Until then, Ill sing my song To cheer the night along Bring it...oh bring it... I could light the night up with my soul on fire I could make the sun shine from pure desire Let me feel that love come over me Let me feel how strong it could be Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Wheres that higher love I keep thinking of? Enjoy !

Steve Winwood - Don't You Know What the Night Can Do?
another great 80's "love" song. Hear the night music playing? Don't you know what it's saying? We should feel it together.... forever Feel the beat and just hold on To the sweet midnight flowing Feel the music inside you i'll be there too Now's the time our dreams are finally coming true Feels so good we're crying Now's the time when it's down to me and you Spread these wings-we'll be flying Don't you know what the night can do? Don't you know when it's touching you? Don't you know what the night can do? Time to show all your feeling All the night is revealing Let the rhythm enfold you Let me hold you Now we turn into music Now we will never lose it When the rhythm and night ride No heart can hide There are times that never ever come again Mem'ries there for the making When the night calls, we better let it in All this love for the taking Don't you know what the night can do? Don't you know when it's touching you? Won't you help me to let it through? Don't you know what the night can do?

Steve Winwood - Valerie [1987 version] HQ Audio lyrics Composição: Winwood / Jennings So wild, standing there With her hands in her hair I can't help remember Just where she touched me There's still no face Here in our place So cool, she was like Jazz on a summer's day Music, high and sweet Then she just blew away Now she can't be that warm With the wind in her arms Valerie, call on me Call on me, Valerie Come and see me I'm the same boy I used to be Love songs fill the night But they don't tell it all Not how lovers cry Just like they're dying Her cries hang there In time somewhere Someday some good Wind may blow her back to me Some night I may Here her like she used to be Now she can't be that warm With the wind in her arms Valerie, call on me Call on me, Valerie Come and see me I'm the same boy I used to be (Instrumental Interlude) So cool, she was like Jazz on a summer's day Music, high and sweet Then she just blew away Now she can't be that warm With the wind in her arms Valerie, call on me Call on me, Valerie Come and see me I'm the same boy I used to be I'm the same boy I used to be
Talking Back to the Night ~ Steve Winwood
www.coloradream.com • www.coloradream.com Talking Back to the Night ~ High above the heat of a summer New York street An out-of-work musician plays a solo saxophone He's a preacher and a teacher And he stands up all alone Stranded in the dark of a vision in the park A poet in his madness tries to find another line And he's losing and he's using And he says he's doing fine And they look from such a height That somehow it's all right They're talking back to the night It's all that they can do Talking back to the night It's how they make it through If you listen you can hear them Their voices draw you near them They're talking back to the night for you Something seems to take every dime the man can make His dream is getting smaller and he wonders where to turn And he's trying hard to make it And he's trying not to burn Woman never minds, pulls the shade and draws the blinds She takes him in the darkness where the loneliest can feed She gives him all she has to And it's no more than he needs ~~~ The amazing talent of Steve Winwood has been reflected by his many years of quailty singing and song writing. At the age of 15 Steve became a member of the Spencer Davis Group, and he co-wrote and recorded "Gimme Some Lovin'" and "I'm a Man" before leaving to form Traffic with Chris Wood, Jim Capaldi and Dave Mason. During the late-1960s, Winwood and Mason became close friends of Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix first heard "All Along the Watchtower" at a party he was invited to by Mason; they ...

Traffic (Steve Winwood) - Evening blue 1973
Traffic - Evening blue 1973 Everybody's looking for something in life Not everyone's finds what they're looking for. Everybody wants a little happiness in life But everyone can open the door Evening shadows making my heart sing out Now that summer's here, changing fears and doubts If I found a lover, who's heart was true I wouldn't be alone in this evening blue (Instrumental) Now that summer's here changing fears and doubts. Dirty City ~ Steve Winwood
www.coloradream.com Dirty City ~ by Steve Winwood 2008 - Off his new "Nine Lives" album release. The amazing talent of Steve, along with a great guitar solo by Eric Clapton, brings this tune to life. The percussion work by Karl Vanden Bossche is somewhat like that of the late former Traffic member, Rebop Kwaku Baah. ~~~ Dirty City by Steve Winwood with Eric Clapton The gangster came to see by boy When I was working nights to pay one more bill He promised the kid a sweeter life Said, "Gotta understand it's dog eat dog out there" Well I looked in his room when I got home And underneath the covers found a loaded gun He looked at me with empty eyes He said, "It's time for me to be moving on" Dirty city, this is a dirty town Where's the pity, I can't move on up to higher ground I spoke to my woman the other day She said, "I need more cash we can't pay our way" She said, "Everything gets really hard And I need something sweet, don't you understand?" The roar of the train runs by my room And on these summer nights I can't sleep anymore I walk in the streets to greet the dawn Or stay at home all night and stare at the floor Dirty city, this is a dirty town Where's the pity, I can't move on up to higher ground Dirty city, this is a dirty town Where's the pity, I can't move on up to higher ground Help me now Move on to a higher ground Help somehow Make a move to a higher ground Won't you help somehow Make a move to a higher ground Won't you help somehow I need a little help ...
John Barleycorn Must Die Traffic Steve Winwood Cover
That's why they call it 'spirits'.. Spirits never die, even as this old folk song feigns sympathy for their faux demise.. They live forever, to titillate, haunt, and sometimes destroy the living. But forget all that... It's Happy Hour!!
