The splits are perhaps one of the most difficult elements of stretching/flexibility. In this tutorial we will go over the basics needed to achieve and learn the splits. These exercises and workouts should be done slowly and carefully. The splits are seen in gymnastics, cheerleading, yoga and many other art forms. Avoid bouncing when doing this stretch or any other stretches. When learning how to do a split, please ALWAYS warm up before you start stretching.
