UNKLE - Heaven
'Heaven' was used in the acclaimed skate film Fully Flared directed by Spike Jonze and Ty Evans. The collaboration inspired the directors to take footage and re-edit a sequence of shots that shows the Lakai skateboarding team demonstrating their considerable skills as they navigate through and around various exploding obstacles. With 'Heaven' as the musical backdrop, the resulting marriage of sound to picture is quite extraordinary.

"I'm Here" is a robot love story celebrating a life enriched by creativity. The new found notoriety of director Spike Jonez was the focus of this MTV Week in Rock segment. The clip was comprised of footage from music videos Spike directed, eg Beastie Boys "Sabotage" and Weezer's "Undone (the Sweater Song)." Also included was footage of Nathanial Hornblower's antics at the 1994 MTV Video Music Awards. Innovative director Spike Jonze collaborates with celebrated author Maurice Sendak to bring one of the most beloved books of all time to the big screen in "Where the Wild Things Are," a classic story about childhood and the places we go to figure out the world we live in. The film tells the story of Max, a rambunctious and sensitive boy who feels misunderstood at home and escapes to where the Wild Things are. Max lands on an island where he meets mysterious and strange creatures whose emotions are as wild and unpredictable as their actions. The Wild Things desperately long for a leader to guide them, just as Max longs for a kingdom to rule. When Max is crowned king, he promises to create a place where everyone will be happy.
