Of course, this video isn't without a quirk or two. Around 91%, I activated star power a second too late and failed the song. I thought I was doing pretty well and didn't want to scratch the whole performance, so this video is actually a composite of two seperate playthroughs. The last twenty seconds or so are from a different video with hacked "unfailable" mode on. If you're paying attention, you should be able to spot the cut. Awesome chart.

Until today I have always recommended Speed Kills as the ultimate advanced guitar technique program. Speed Kills has been the shredder's bible since the early 90's. It's still one of the best, but it has been surpassed today by the release of Speed Kills 3. This DVD will either inspire and motivate you beyond your current level of playing ability or convince you to find a new hobby. It's that challenging. Still, you don't have to play these exercises at 200 beats per minute to get results. Start slow and gradually increase speed until you're capable of keeping up with Michael. At least you can aspire to keep up with Michael. That's difficult. The point is, regardless of what tempo you play exercises, your dexterity, speed, and coordination will improve beyond belief. People are amazed by Michael's extreme shredding performances but they don't really understand what's happening in these videos. This piece is over six minutes long and what you see and hear is what you get. This was a three-camera shoot, which allowed us to cut between cameras to make the video more visually appealing. As everybody knows, when you cut to a different camera it could be from another take. Not here. We turned all three cameras on and let them roll for twenty-four minutes. During that period of time Michael performed the piece from beginning to end three times. Speed Kills 2010 - Part 3
This is very funny. Hang in there because it's a bit repetitive in the beginning. First, Michael plays one of the exercises from Speed Kills fast, then he plays it super slow. In this video you see that playing fast isn't that difficult for Michael. Playing slow can be challenging. In the second part of the video I mention to Michael that he didn't have one bend in the entire Speed Kills program. His response is pretty funny. Also, notice how he is shredding while he is listening to me. He's able to pay attention to our conversation while playing some very challenging guitar without even thinking about it. It shows that this stuff must be played with our subconscious mind. It doesn't matter if you're playing chords or shredding on riffs like this you must make playing guitar "second nature" - Doug Marks

Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Health System The Department of Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital provides care for nearly 100000 patients each year, of which 24 percent are admitted to the hospital. Those admissions account for nearly 44 percent of all hospital admissions. More than 30 senior staff physicians and about 50 resident physicians staff the ER with more than 300 nurses and other health care support personnel. Recently, the emergency room underwent an extensive $10 million renovation. Speed Painting Photo Realism
I did this as an excercise for the purpose of, quite simply, practice. It's been a while since I attempted anything photo-real... It's very good to do this kind of thing because it strengthens your freehand drawing abilities, as well as developing an eye for detail. Freehand drawn in photoshop cs2 (from a reference photo off to the side) with a wacom tablet. time-lapsed... real time was about 3 and a half hours. UPDATE: For the people that think this is fake-- simply do a little research. It's as easy as clicking on my username to see the list of all of my other videos. There you will find an array of different subjects and different mediums... Including photo real techniques with real paint. It it's a pretty reasonable conclusion that if I can do the things I do with real paint-- why would I feel the need or insecurity to fake it with the "less impressive" digital mediums? Why waste my time? You could also consider the efforts it would take to fake such a thing- consider the layering of the shadows and gradients... Look at how carefully it is done in these vids. There is a visible build-up of LAYERS of tones shadows and colors. To fake something like that would take so much effort, why would a guy who can do all of the other OBVIOUS traditional medium paintings on the same channel waste his time?
