Souness was the captain of the successful Liverpool team of the early 1980s and player-manager of Rangers in the late 1980s as well as captain of the Scottish national team. He says that he has no right to make such decisions and should keep his mouth shut. It is the managers job to choose the team. The tail now wags the dog. Dunphy says that Capello is a big mistake. Souness says that players are getting paid too much and that they should take a look at themselves. Dunphy lauches an attack on Souness over his comments. Souness says that John Terry is the one player who needs to take a look at himself because he is an idiot who only cares about money and women.
