Lets take a look at Sonic Mega Collection Plus for the PS2. I love this collection a lot. It has all the classic Sonic games. I don't Sonic Spinball a classic but, It has 6 Game Gear added to the Plus version. The cool part is that there's lots of extras in the game as well. So yeah, this is the best Sonic collection game out there. If you don't have it then get it. My Genesis does not work anymore so all I have left to play the classic are this game and Sonic Classic Collection for the Nintendo DS. Part 1: The Games

Sonic Mega Collection (GCN) Review!

Sonic Mega Collection for Nintendo GameCube (also available on PS2 and XBOX) is a nice compilation of classic Sonic games similar to Sonic Jam on Sega Saturn. It is very neat and organized and even contains manual scan and comics! It may just be that I own all the games on this disk but this game can get kind of boring after a while and I only recommend this game if you don't have the original cartridges. But aside from all of that this game does a very nice job of giving you your moneys worth! It's a super fantastic game and really lets you experience the classic Sonic games! Sonic Mega Mix

I found this Sonic the Hedgehog ROM hack online and it's pretty good. I'm impressed to see multiple characters, new moves, and new physics in Sonic 1. There are plenty of graphic, sound, and music changes. I was disappointed to see many levels completely unchanged from the original, but I suppose this is only a beta.
