Stephen Sondheim - Sweeney Todd - No Place Like London - Performed By Daniel P. Collins
Hiya folks! Here's a special video involving two of myself. That's right. I have the ability to clone myself so that I can play multiple characters. Surely you all knew that? Just kidding, I just meshed two videos of myself together playing different roles. Much more efficient (and possible) than cloning. ;) The scene is taken from a musical called Sweeney Todd written by Stephen Sondheim. This is definitely not my most favorite musical. 'Tis a little to dark for my taste, but I had been getting some requests that I do some Sweeney stuff. ****WARNING**** There is a curse word used in this video and therefore should not be viewed by children, grandmothers or anyone who takes offense to such language. But what did you expect? It's Stephen Sondheim for crying out loud! Enjoy! DanC

A Christmas Carol Music Video (Stephen Sondheim)
Christmas is coming up and here's a little present for you. In 1843 the beloved writer Charles Dickens wrote an immortal tale about the old and bitter Ebenezer Scrooge. 'A Christmas Carol' has been adapted to stage and screen numerous times. For this video I used the animated version by Richard Williams with Alastair Sim reprising his role as Scrooge . It's an incredibly faithful adaptation with a wonderfully surreal look. The film received a fair amount of praise and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 1972. The music I used are Stephen Sondheim's opening titles from 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street'. The piece is very dark and spooky which was perfect for this Christmas ghost story. 'A Christmas Carol' belongs to the American Broadcasting Company.
