Rudolf Nureyev Solo Debut on American TV 1963
Rudolf Nureyev's first American solo broadcast. He danced the male solos from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty and from Katchaturian's Gayne. He seems nervous and vulnerable, especially in the Katchaturian, where he finishes in a bit of a sad and awkward pose. Because of the blurry image you can't really see his final expression, which is strained, in between a forced smile and a grimace of pain. The audience loved him. His unmistakable charisma and beauty were instantly recognized.

It's been a while since I posted this video, but here is a general idea of the settings. Please keep in mind that there are a lot of factors that go into tone, not just the amplifier. For example, the type of guitar, pickups, strings, pick used, and even your fingers and how you attack the strings. In other words, just because the settings work for me, doesn't mean they will sound the same for you. Treble: 6 or 7 Middle: 5 or 6.. I also used a separate rack-mount EQ to boost the mids probably 8-10k at 1khz. However, you can simply turn your mids up to 7 or 8. Bass: 5 Presence: 5 or 6 Gain: 6 or 7, however, it also depends on what type of amplifier and channel you may be using. For example, I am using the "Crunch" channel on my Peavey ...

[SPOILERS] For the past week I have been skilling to get all skills to 98 then I went to Nex to solo an Effigy. (I only show the Zaros phase but below is a link to my solo Video). www.youtube.com Sorry for skilling and not posting any videos :S. It took 7 Nex Solos before getting the Effigy, each Solo takes a little above an hour on average. From the effigy I get off Nex I level up two skills to 99 without using the lamp. Then i open the 2nd Effigy in my inventory to level up the 4th. The 3rd Effigy is just there as a backup. The reason I had two effigies before I killed Nex was so that I am guaranteed to level all four skills to 99 if I do get an Effigy from Nex. The Effigies I received were obtained from Nex, one is still on my adventure log, but the 3rd has since been removed. I had previously leveled up my previous four skills to 99 at Nex with Mining, Fishing, Farming and Runecrafting but forgot to record. After the Adventure log picture is a clip of me attending a friends Completionist cape party. Same actors, same scene, different outcome! Ironically, this was going to be my last attempt for tonight... :) LK's main challenges are: 1) Practice of cooldown usage in p1. They're used *very* strictly and if you don't have that practice, you'll probably wipe in p1 endlessly (which is what I initially did) 2) surviving transition phases. This is insane and requires, again, extremely precise cooldown management and positioning. 3) Finally, the obvious DPS race. This fight lasted an exact 15 minutes, not a single second more or less - I spent the whole evening wiping between 11 and 12% and finally, finally did it, through more Vengeance stacking and better play on my part (oh .. and maybe a lil bit crit RNG I guess? :p). There's no particular clever trick, however, and I honestly think some other solos such as Yogg were *harder* in terms of thinking outside the box. Here I'm basically excecuting the fight as clean as I can, grabbing every possible bit of DPS along the way. However, I didn't encounter any boss so far that was as exhausting as LK was in terms of raw DPS requirements. Especially since, while I do have tons of 391 gear, I'm still rockin' little 372 Akirus. ;) If you think DPS requirements aren't worth of a "challenge", I guess pre-nerf Baleroc/Cho'gall would like a word with you. FAQ: Necrotic Plague : cannot target the tank. You need it to clear the ghouls/vrykuls from phase 1, however. The trick is to put an engineer dummy to drop aggro for a split second ...
