How to get MORE VIEWS on YouTube videos.. REALLY!
I now have over 75 MILLION views and 175000 SUBSCRIBERS and here's how I did it! It's not as hard as you'd think : ) My saying "subscribers are like car batteries" means, subscribers are like the power of a car battery, the more power your battery has, the bigger the motor the battery can start. In reality it means, your subscribers are the ones who put you on the most disscussed / most viewed lists... the more your viewers interact with you, the more new unique viewers you'll recieve once you reach the lists. My guess is, only about 30% of YouTube's viewers have accounts which means, many of these unique viewers don't even subscribe. If you can inspire these people to get YouTube accounts, then you're golden. I still use it from time to time but the only reason I stopped using it was because I wanted to get into DSLRs. It's still a great camera! My Sony VX2100: www.ebay.com This is the hardest camera for me to let go of because this camera LITERALLY helped make me who I am today. This camera was responsible for filming The Mean Kitty Song, every episode of my TV show "The FIZZ" which is the first TV show featuring an internet personality and it was also used by KassemG when he was starting out. This camera may not be the type of camera you'd want to use to make YouTube videos with (since it's quite outdated) but it's one lucky camera!

2 Girls 1 Cup reaction from Cory WIlliams/Mr Safety/SMP Films
angryaussie.wordpress.com For those who don't know, Cory (Mr Safety) stayed with me when he came out for last year's As One gathering in Melbourne. We uploaded a few videos together at the time but we actually shot a bit of stuff we never used. I was doing some editing in preparation for my 600th video (it won't be up for a while yet but I've learned it's better to do the editing in stages) and this involves cleaning out my hard drive a little. I found a few bits of video I had shot of Cory and thought "what better way to celebrate becoming a partner than cashing in on the profile of someone who's more popular than me?" So how did I come to get his reaction to seeing 2 Girls 1 Cup for the first time? Well, one afternoon we decided to go on Stickam and Cory spent about an hour chatting with various people (the room was featured on stickam's front page and I think there were over 1,00 people in there at one point). One sick little monkey sent Cory the link to 2 Girls 1 Cup and told him to watch it. When Cory said he didn't know what 2 Girls 1 Cup was, I realised I had a golden opportunity. I wouldn't let him watch it until I had my camera ready and so now I present for your viewing pleasure, Mr Safety losing his innocence as he watches that famous moment in internet gross-out porn "2 Girls 1 Cup". By the way, if you don't what 2 Girls 1 Cup is, DON'T LOOK IT UP! Seriously, save that part of your soul. If you feel tempted to look for it, poke out your eyes with knitting ...

The Fallout (The Importance of Background Music)
