To complete this How-To you will need: 1 c. fresh or frozen fruit ½ c. fruit juice A blender 2 tbsp. milk, light cream, or yogurt And a tall glass Honey Ice Protein powder, wheat germ, bee pollen, or flaxseed Step 1: Choose fruit and juice Choose your fruit and fruit juice. Tip: A variety of flavors mixed together can make for the most satisfying smoothie—a few dashes of cranberry juice or a squeeze of lime may be just what that OJ and banana combo needs. Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales": The Pardoner's Tale
The English poet Geoffrey Chaucer (c. 1343 -- 1400) is known as the father of English poetry. "The Canterbury Tales," often considered his masterpiece (although Chaucer himself seems to have preferred his romantic epic "Troilus and Criseyde"), was left incomplete upon the author's death. The book concerned a group of pilgrims embarking on a journey to the shrine of St. Thomas Becket at Canterbury Cathedral. On the way a storytelling contest is held with the inn-keeper promising a free meal to whomever tells the best tale. "The Canterbury Tales" begins with Chaucer describing the other pilgrims whom he meets at the inn. The richness of the characters is due to the fact that the descriptions in the General Prologue, when taken with the tales themselves tell us more about the tellers than they think they are letting on. Many of the tales are prefaced by a prologue and these add a third dimension to our knowledge of the characters. Often, the concerns reflected in the characters' tales expose parts of their personalities which we would not know otherwise. "The Pardoner's Prologue and Tale" is often considered the poet's masterpiece. Chaucer wrote in Middle English. This recording is based on a modern English translation. The last few days have been high overcats clouds with some light prescipitation. It did rain at lake level but thats a good thing. We have so much snow there is no more room to stack it. Also rain smothes out the snow and bonds it together for a strong snow pack. Above 8500 feet all precipitation fell as snow.
Manfrotto Modosteady 585 Steadycam
This is a test with the ModoSteady Steadycam. I bought this cam stabilizer to test it out for a movie I'm working on. This is the 1st time I'm using the steadycam and this is what I think about it. This is definitely not a pro quality rig but it serves its purpose i guess. You get what you pay for. I have seen homemade rigs that have better results.
