sleeper vw bug
I took a 60 vw bug that was sitting for 25 years, rebuilt a motor for it, and took it to the track. Didnt even wash it! to Prove whats on the outside isnt what counts. Its what we DONT see that does. Motor is all VW with stock block clearenced for stroker crank, stock crank is welded stroker, has 92mm pistons to equal 2180, vw heads ported, and dual IDF webber carbs. mild 125 engle cam. I know its not a super fast car like most other videos on here, but for what it is, a stock bug with skinny 165 metric tires, and a stock vw motor with very old hot rod technology, it does pretty good. The way it is I a ran a 13.41@100mph on the stock tires.

Woody Allen's 1973 film "Sleeper" may accurately portray healthy eating in the future
Woody Allen's quirky futuristic film "Sleeper" released in 1973 had an amazing scene where Dr. Melik, portrayed by Mary Gregory, and Dr. Aragon, characterized by John McLiam, have a conversation about Allen's character who just woke up after 200 years to a future he doesn't recognize. This particular scene was especially prescient in light of the constant changes we see in the research about what is healthy for us and what is not. Here's the transcript of the enlightening exchange: Dr. Melik: This morning for breakfast he requested something called "wheat germ, organic honey and tiger's milk." Dr. Aragon: [chuckling] Oh, yes. Sleeper Wagon
This was a car I built up with some friends for fun. It's a 1970 VG Valiant station wagon (it's an A-body Mopar, like a Dodge dart...but a wagon)and we yanked the stock 4-litre six and bolted in a 440ci motor. The car was awesome, we would abolutely hose WRX's on the street and no-one expected anything from an old white station wagon. This video is quite old and it was the first video I ever edited. It comes from when we raced the wagon at an 1/8th mile meeting at Sydney's Oran Park. I came runner up at the meeting and I decided to show enough of each run to show how we won. Most of the time it looks like I'm racing myself until the camera pans. In the final we raced a drag pick-up and stayed with it for most of the run which shows how capable the wagon was. I still have the wagon, it now runs a turbocharged 4-litre, I'll post up some videos as they become available. Enjoy.

Corolla sleeper - Nissan VG30 turbo powered
Scotty's KE30 Toyota Corolla street sleeper was built in a mere 4 weeks. Power comes from a $60 wrecking yard stock unopened Nissan VG30 V6 3L engine and Garret roller bearing turbo. Custom LPG straight gas fuel system by Tunnel Vision, ZX 5spd box, R180 diff. This was the first time out and the car was suffering from diff hop and severe clutch slip in 4th gear running a best time of 11.4 at 127mph. Power is transmitted through tiny 215mm 14in ET Street Radial tyres and was driven to and from the track. The car should be good for 10s at 130+mph next time out in full street trim.
