Boz Scaggs - Sierra
Boz Scaggs - Sierra After learning guitar at the age of 12, Boz Scaggs met Steve Miller at St. Mark's School of Texas in Dallas. In 1959, he became the vocalist for Miller's band, The Marksmen. The pair later attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison together, playing in blues bands like The Ardells and The Fabulous Knight Trains. Leaving school, Scaggs briefly left Texas to join the burgeoning rhythm and blues scene in London. After singing in bands such as The Wigs and Mother Earth. He travelled to Sweden as a solo performer, and recorded his solo debut album, Boz in 1965, which was not a commercial success and did a brief stint with the band The Other Side with fellow American Jack Downing and Brit Mac MacLeod. Returning to the US, Scaggs promptly headed for the booming psychedelic music center of San Francisco in 1967. Linking up with Steve Miller again, he appeared on the Steve Miller Band's first two albums Children of the Future and Sailor, which received good reviews from music critics. After being spotted by Rolling Stone publisher Jann Wenner, Scaggs secured a solo contract with Atlantic Records in 1968. Despite good reviews, his sole Atlantic album, featuring the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section and slide guitarist Duane Allman, was met with lukewarm sales, as were follow-up albums on Columbia Records. In 1976, he linked up with session musicians who would later form Toto and recorded his smash album Silk Degrees. The album reached number 2 on the US charts and ...

Kamajor Chaos - Sierra Leone
June 1998 The Nigerian peacekeeping force (ECOMOG) ousted Sierra Leone's military junta and restored President Ahmed Tejan Kabbah in March, with the help of the Kamajors. We meet the Kamajors - hunters from the bush - fighters who can supposedly shirk off the bullets of their enemies. Armed with amulets and colourful festishes, they're convinced that their magic protects them from death and injury. But Nigerian soldiers are struggling to maintain order amongst the Kamajors. We see the Kamajors looting towns they have taken from the RUF rebels, and watch as the ECOMOG battles to retrieve the loot. For now the Kamajors and Nigerian troops are pushing on together. ECOMOG now claims to be in control of 80% of the country. It has emerged that the President was restored with the help of illegal weapons and mercenaries supplied by a British company, Sandline. These mercenaries trained the Kamajors to become the force they are today. We have never-before-broadcast photographs of Sandline mercenaries surrounded by corpses in Sierra Leone in 1995.

GMC Sierra All Terrain HD Concept revealed
GMC has unveiled the Sierra All Terrain HD concept, ahead of its debut at the North American International Auto Show. Designed to be one of the most capable trucks ever created, the All Terrian is a Sierra HD on steroids. Compared to the standard model, the concept is shorter, wider, and taller. Furthermore, it has been equipped custom control arms, Fox off-road shocks, front/rear jounce shocks, automatic locking differentials, and a beefy front stabilizer bar with electric disconnection. In terms of styling, the concept features a massive grille, bulging fender flares, LED lights and 20-inch aluminum wheels with 35-inch BFGoodrich KM2 tires. Out back, the bed has a composite liner and two compartments which house an air compressor and a 110-volt outlet. While no interior pictures were released, GM says the cabin has two-tone leather seats, satin chrome trim, and a next-generation navigation system with an 80 GB hard drive. Power is provided by a Duramax 6.6-liter V8 diesel engine with 397 hp (296 kW) and 765 lb-ft (1037 Nm) of torque. Performance specifications weren't released, but GM estimates the All Terrain would have a payload capacity of 2700 pounds (1225 kg) and a towing capacity of 13000 pounds (5896 kg).

A review of the 2012 GMC Sierra HD pickup truck in regards to Trailering Control, Sway Control, Hill Start Assist, the integrated trailer brake controller, and smart exhaust brake. The pickup is discussed by Richard Spina (Global Vehicle Director), John K. Dagg (EGM Truck Suspensions), and James A. Mikulec (Lead Development Engineer HD). Trailering Control on the Sierra HD is important when you need power to pull the trailer and braking capability to stop it while still maintaining control. Hill Start Assist is used when pulling a heavy load up a hill where the technology compensates by not releasing the break when moving foot to the accelerator. This prevents the pickup truck from rolling backward. The Integrated Trailer Brake Controller works with the Stabilitrak system to adjust the trailer brakes in relation to the truck brakes which is useful in wet and icy conditions. The Smart Exhaust Brake, a diesel only feature, acts as a traditional exhaust brake to save wear and tear on the pickup truck's brakes but also integrates with the transmission controls so you don't have to slam on the brakes. El Halcon De La Sierra Aquel Amor (VIDEO OFFICIAL)
Fabian Ortega, better know as "El Halcon de la Sierra" was a Mexican regional singer from Chihuahua, Mexico. He became know in the Souther California Mexican music scene with his narcocorrido hit,"El Coco". El Halcon de la Sierra started his musical career with Titan Records where he and El As de la Sierra recorded numerous albums which became extremely popular in Los Angeles. In 2009, "El Halcon de la Sierra" was arrested by federal agents which conducted a raid on a boat from the port of Ensenada, manned by suspected members of Teodoro Garcia Simental, aka "Teo", but was released months later. His body was found lifeless on Tuesday, October, 20. It is presumed that he was was executed along with two other people on the road to La Junta-Tomochi, in the town of Guerrero, Mexico.
