This video won Best Comedy at the Katsucon 16 AMV Awards and at the Animazement 13 AMV Contest with an alternate ending. The alternate ending version was also a finalist at the Anime Boston 2010 AMV contest and the Tekkoshocon 8 Adult AMV contest in the Extreme category featuring the uncut audio track. The alternate ending version can be found at amv.org or on the PixelBlended YouTube channel. This is my second AMV, coming 5 years after my first. I was originally going to try and make a video with extensive AFX effects, but when trying to find the right song and anime, I ended up thinking about the concept for this video and became sidetracked. Recent episodes just did the trick. They were exactly what the doctor ordered. With them I could complete my story. The amv shows the conflict between Aisen and Shinji, focusing on the second one. I even tried to create an inner shinji hollow who talks to hirako in the dramatic moments. So basicilly I invite you for a sad story, showing why Hirako hates so much Aizen. Effects: I tried to create a dark and creepy mood. For acomplishing it I created some combination of effects: Hollow effect (shaking, and RGB split), Color correction to the past moments, to show these scenes in a retrospective way.
