Here is the rough copy of my top 10 moments of "The Shield" 7th and final season! Modifications to come: an ending, possibly change intro to last video (specifically the text), etc. Note that the spoilers are minimal. Most of the scenes in here are funny things said, not major events as far as the plot line! Note this is footage from episodes 1-11 of Season 7 only and the moments I thought were intense/funny. The Shield Best TV Ending Ever
This is the ending of Episode 13 of Season 7 of The Shield, the ground breaking FX Original Drama. In my opinion quite possibly one of the best TV shows ever made. The Ending was beautiful leaving just enough to give a hopeful ending but solid enough to give closure. I wish the Strike Team was back in business but a few years has to pass before it would make sense to bring any of the characters back to television. I absolutely love this little montage, I must have played it on repeat over and over again for a couple of hours at least. This is the part that played after we see Curtis and Shane dead, Ronnie headed for County and certain death, by the hands of Antwone Mitchell, and Vic Mackey in his own personal hell having lost everything and everyone that mattered to him. Good luck to everyone who had a hand in the best TV Cop drama ever, and thank you for 7 excellent seasons. Thank You. M&P Shield
Shooting and showing Smith & Wesson's new M&P defensive pistol, the Shield. I get so involved shooting and blabbing that I forget to shoot the hollowpoints I have there on the table. :-) I did shoot a magazine of them the day before, and they functions fine. Also, since I forgot to shoot them in this video, you will DEFINITELY see me shoot some of them in the "Shield Close-up" video. They feed fine, though. A point about shields
In which our presenter contends that most ancient shields had a single central grip, rather than two straps as depicted in most films, comics, and such like media. He then endeavours to point out the advantages of centre-grip shields over cross grip shields. So convinced are many modern people that shields should have two straps, that modern police riot shields have them, and are as a result much less effective than they could be. The shield you see here is laminated wood with a mild steel boss, and rawhide edging. It weighs about 16 lbs (7kg). www.LloydianAspects.co.uk

I, Shield
This is my very first AMV. I started working on it a few months ago and after excruciating editing sessions, it's finally done. First it was really difficult to even decide which anime to make an AMV out of, let alone choosing the song. The basic idea was to make a video that looks good. It formed slowly as the weeks went by without a plan of any kind. Whenever I even had some interesting ideas, I scribbled them down on paper. I haven't really gotten acquianted with the AMV scene so far and the video might be a bit unorthodox. Several scenes are completely original material, made using only a few still images kindly edited with Photoshop by my friend thehaywire. He also acted as a brilliant judge of style, which contributed to the visual quality of the video. Many of my ideas turned into something better, thanks to thehaywire. As an example of originality I have to point out the cloud scene, in which the "camera" flies amongst the clouds. I made the scene by simply going outside with my video camera to film some clouds and after a little fine tuning with After Effects a nice "skyflight" scene was made. Costructive critisism is always welcome, it makes it easier for me to start the next project.
