Retired police officer Rick Deckard is forced to meet with his old boss, Supervisor Bryant... The fourth scene in the movie "Blade Runner" has all the dark elements from the 1940's and 1950's film-noir era. Even the language is very 1950's detective-like: "you know the score...", "no choice pal" (I think legendary film-noir actor James Cagney would have favored Blade Runner's script). Harrison Ford executes a remarkable "Bogart-like" interpretation of the antihero / burnout, police officer...(pretty much along the lines with "Sam Spade"... that famous character from the film "The Maltese Falcon (1941)". Video 25: Grandma plays Dead Space
Grandma juuust completed Chapter 9 of Dead Space. Two things I've noticed while watching her: she likes to shoot single blades at enemies with the ripper rather than just holding the blade out and cutting them up easy. Second- She wastes stasis modules by mashing the X button on her controller "just to make sure they've stopped." Both are unbreakable habits, it seems :) Not like I can talk, though- she's better than me at the damn thing. The art director of Dead Space, Ian Milham, was very kind to send Grandma a copy of the game when he noticed she hadn't played it yet. Grandma's biggest frustration with Dead Space has been the quickness at which one can use a medpack to heal. If there is a way to hotkey the thing so she doesn't have to go through her inventory each time she's in trouble, she hasn't found it yet. Let us know if you have any suggestions. Bleach: Shattered Blade -- Soi Fon
I present to you...possibly the most broken character in the game, she can kill in just two strikes of her...wait, what? You're kidding, right? I thought for sure... ... ...no? Really? Orihime Inoue is actually my pick for the most game-breaking character around. Just watch her abilities and think of how much Soi Fon WOULD be doing if not for the shields and healing and perhaps one of the most surprisingly powerful, perfect-homing projectiles you'll see around these parts. Orihime takes a heck of a lot of abuse to tear down, and while she's shielding, she can summon up some healing and attack freely. You'd think anyway that Suzumebachi's power would lend itself to being a game-breaker, though, wouldn't you? I mean, two hits to kill? The problems lie in the facts that it's a special attack, so like all special attacks, its strikes are blockable...but not only that, but even if you do land a hit, the symbol will fade after a rather short interval, so really it has no possible use against a human player. As if that weren't bad enough, you should watch carefully and look at the spiritual pressure cost. I know it's kinda late in the game to be mentioning this, but most of the time it doesn't exactly matter. Spiritual pressure is the gauge located under the health bar. It depletes by varying amounts as attacks are made, different amounts dependig on the attack used. If the bar empties out, you can't attack, or special and Critical attacks will be reduced to the regular attack ...
PlayStation - The Last Blade (Anime Intro)
This is the animated intro that SNK commissioned for the PlayStation port of The Last Blade (月華の剣士/Gekka no Kenshi). Just to clarify, this is NOT from The Last Blade 2. No port of that ever received an anime intro. The version of Kojiroh seen here is the actual (male) Kojiroh, who was murdered by Shikyoh, and whose place was taken by his sister in The Last Blade 2. He is playable, but he's basically a bad sprite edit of Washizuka, and plays 100% identically. This apparently is the source of some confusion, so I'm going to nab some footage of him to clear things up. The port also contains weird, "alternate" versions of Shigen and Akari. Gameplay-wise, they are no different from the originals, and Shigen only has a different palette, but plays otherwise the same. The alternate Akari is mildly interesting, as she is meant to be a tanuki (raccoon dog) who is mimicking her form and powers. Her special moves now have a tanuki-centric look, but otherwise, she's no different. The intro is basically the only worthwhile part of the port, as it's pretty badly butchered. Animation cuts bad enough to affect gameplay, and lots of slowdown... yet, curiously, the stages are 100% intact, in all their detail. Oh well. Enjoy the video.

I throw the cold grenade in the Acid Pool, and duly discovers the fourth Star Map and the Sith Lightsaber. As I return, Master and Apprentice are waiting for me - hence a tug of war begins. This is a charater creation video of Vindictus on the two starter classes, Lann and Fiona. All Info are from the home site of Vindictus all credit goes to them Lann -- Info Lann specializes in dual-wielding weapons, especially swords. His attacks are speedy, and in the battlefield, enemies are left breathless at his seemingly non-stop whirlwind of slashes and thrusts. Because he relies on speed, Lann starts out wearing light armor. As he gets stronger, he learns how to wear heavy armor without impeding his quick movements. Lann hails from the northwest. He left his hometown when it was destroyed by Fomors and came to Colhen to join the Crimson Blade mercenaries. He stakes his entire identity on his ability to be victorious in battle. Fiona -- Info Fiona is a balanced warrior who wields a sword and a shield. She values defense, so she uses her shield to protect herself during combat and then strikes strategically when enemies aren't expecting it. She is able to wear heavy armor from the start and later learns to wear plate armor as well. Fiona comes from the south. She treasures her privacy and boasts a solemn, serious personality, so no one knows how she came to join the Crimson Blade mercenaries. She rarely speaks about her past. Even as people marvel at her combat abilities, they can't help but wonder what secrets she's hiding.
