Like beings in the ocean are wet, everybody is conditionned. Schooling influence... We are trying to convince each other that our view is so sharp - why not leave it? Self Inquiry Meditation - Analyzing Thoughts
HH Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwaranandaji is founder of Yoga in Daily Life system. The technique of "Self-Inquiry Meditation" helps us to attain Self-Knowledge through self-control and self-development. Its goal is to experience and realise the Divine Self (Atma) within us. Such a supreme goal cannot be achieved overnight, but requires self-discipline, consistent practice and guidance from a Master. The Self-Inquiry Meditation begins with the question: "How am I?" in order to eventually discover the answer to life's most fundamental question: "Who am I?" Self-Inquiry - You Are What Is Having The Thought Of You
The next time you have a thought - any thought - stop and ask yourself "who is having this thought?" The answer, of course, will always be another thought. Ask yourself again, "who is having this thought?" Once more, the answer will only be another thought. Every time you think you have an answer, ask yourself, "but who is having this thought?" This is the self-inquiry method of practice. By practicing this, you learn firsthand that no thought really describes who you are. The closest we can come is to say "you are Infinite Awareness." But who is having this thought? To whom does the thought of "Infinite Awareness occur? Thought can never find its source. It can only find more of itself. Who are you, really? The "you" that any thought describes is just a thought. You are what is having the thought of "you."

mooji - Does the Self Evolve ?
If I am already Free, If there is no where to go, nothing to achieve, nothing to do, nothing to become, nothing more ... then .... what is this growth, blossoming, expansion, evolution ? The interest in being more fizzles out with advaita teachings. I Surrender but Existence does not accept it ! What to do ? Cow of Ramana Lakshmi was Liberated but I feel sorry for it because it did not get a chance to experience the human existence. Is there a process of evolution from a mineral to plant to animal to human to devine, or it is just all unchanging awareness ?

Nothing is you
Satsang with Mooji, 29th May 2010, session 3, Brixton "Nothing you say, nothing you can describe, is you; they are just thoughts! The Avadhut carries nothing - the unassociated being..."
Ramana Maharshi - Quotes
Quotes accompanied by images & video footage of Sri Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi the 'Sage of Arunachala' Ramana Maharshi realized the Self at the age of 16, drawn to mount Arunachala he remained there his whole life. Many of the spiritual masters of today are heavily influenced by Sri Ramana's revival of self inquiry, a timeless teaching where the question of ones true identity is the main focus. Ramana relentlessly pointed seekers & devotees to find out the true nature of the Self. Who they are. The path 'Who am i?' being the most universally applicable method and most potent & direct path to truth possible, indicates that Ramana Maharshi was one of, if not the greatest Sage our planet earth has ever seen.
"Nothing you can do!" You who?
8th January 2011 Mooji addresses some common misconceptions quite popular among western thinkers in regard to the teachings of Advaita, for example: "Since nothing and no one exists, who is there to follow the advice?" Mooji responds: "First you must realize in your heart that no autonomous entity is there to act independently. Until then, the urge, the longing and the search for truth are part of the play of Grace leading to Self-recognition, and they have their place. We must acknowledge, understand and respect that authentic expression of consciousness."
