Seed
Sam Seed, an insane mass murderer, is scheduled for execution at the hands of Warden Wright. Before the executioner throws the switch, Wright steps in front of Seed, "Do you have any last words?" He has two living companions, a spider and a caterpillar, whom are making plans to become something great. Slowly his friends leave on their exciting journeys, leaving Sid by himself, longing for his own life changing event. My name is Daniel Pagan and I posted my story because I feel that my story is special, engaging and unique. Children want to learn, to grow! When you are so small, you look toward big things and you dream about being in new places. I feel that my story inspires young readers to let their imaginations run wild. More importantly, my story will show young children that they are a masterpieces waiting to happen. I am a special education teacher living in Kentucky. I also have a Bachelors degree in Art. I am a musician as well and I feel that writing songs has helped me to write my picture book stories. I plan on using Sid the Seed as a teaching tool to inspire kids to reach their full potential. Time lapse radish seeds sprouting, top and roots growing
Time lapse sequence shot using Pentax K110D and Harbortronics DigiSnap 2100 set to take a frame each 14 minutes 24 seconds. The time lapse spans 9 days. Two 90 watt compact floresecent lights where used for both the camera shooting light and the grow lights. The lights were set on a timer for 18 hours on and 6 off (for the health of the plants). How To Start Seeds Indoors
www.Lowes.com Starting your own garden from seeds is an easy and inexpensive way to grow vegetables and flowers. Lowe's shows you how to start seeds indoors. First, add seed starting mix to peat pots. You can also use a seed starting flat or you can reuse old yogurt cups or egg cartons. Seed-starting mix is formulated to help build strong roots fast. Second, use a pencil to make a hole half an inch deep in each peat pot. Then, drop one seed in each hole. Cover each seed slightly with soil. Water each seed. Be sure to water gently to avoid washing away the seeds. Finally, set the peat pots near a light source. Keep the temperature between 70-85 degrees to give the seeds the best chance to germinate. After the danger of frost outdoors has passed, you can break the peat pots apart and plant them directly in the ground. The peat pot dissolves underground. Check out the interesting mold growing on the kernels, it did not seem to bother the corn. Amazing how fast the corn grew - for scale, the pot in the last part of the video is 5 inch. Blu says that it's dope to reflect on his Freshmen XXL cover and how he feels a bond with the artist on it like Curren$y, Asher Roth, Cudi, Wale, BoB, Charles Hamilton.
