See more at swift-move.com The "Grüner See" (engl. Green Lake) is situated in upper styria, austria (see geotag). It is amazingly beautiful because of its deep green colour and the surrounding alpine scenery. The lake itself dries up in autumn but fills up with melting water. The water itself of the lake is extremely pure, like glass. The colour is a result of light refraction. "The night before there seemed to be heavy rain and too much of the pollen were flushed in the water and were floating. So the visibility could be much better, i´ve missed the „crystal clear water. You have to know the Green Lake is famous for its clear water. The good thing for this day was the water level with 9,40m. Spring flowers, plants, benches, hiking trails were below the surface. And i have found out when its the best time during the two to three months "flood" to get in the water - i was to early in this season. Altough the water temperature was between 5 and 6 degrees Celcius i did two dives (85 and 96 minutes long) My face was well frozen, i can hardly speak afterwards. I hoped this procedure kept my face young and skintight. After watching the footage it seemed to be different." The beautiful music is by "Tabolomegalo"

SCUBA Diving - Beach Dive off Hollywood Beach Florida

While SCUBA diving in places like the Keys, Bahamas or Cayman Islands are much more scenic and colorful, one advantage of living the past 30+ years in South Florida is the ability to beach dive whenever you have some spare time. In much of the United States, there is really not much to see underwater within swimming distance of the shoreline. But in South Florida (starting approximately at the West Palm Beach and southward region), you can strap on your tanks and gear, swim out about 500 yards with a dive flag in tow and drop down to 20-25 feet and spend 90 minutes underwater enjoying the northern-most edges of the tropical reefs that become larger and more scenic as you head into the true tropics of the Caribbean. So while it may not be as grand and colorful and a full blown dive vacation to the islands, it is nearby and cheap. At a moments notice, you can throw your tanks and gear in the car -- drive 30 minutes to the beach -- and be exploring the reefs within the hour. Figure $4 for an air fill and $6 for a slice of pizza and soda when you get back on land and it makes for a great inexpensive way to spend the day for $10. This video shows what lies underwater just a few hundred yards offshore at Hollywood Beach Florida. This beach is pretty much equidistant between Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach along the East Coast. A much quieter and less populated beach area as the video reveals (although sadly, signs of urban sprawl are getting closer each year) Enjoy.

To my subscribers : obviously this video is not about airsoft, but scuba diving, which is one of my other hobby (because yes, unlike popular belief, my whole life does not turn around airsoft only). I'm a CMAS ** diver (plongeur niveau II in french). Therefore you may not be interested in this video, which is indeed very long and, I have to say, pretty boring. I guess. I like the video, it makes a nice souvenir to me, but I guess it's a bit slow and long ^^ I've been diving in Cape Verde during the first half of september. Cape Verde is an island country, spanning an archipelago of 10 islands located in the central Atlantic Ocean, 570 kilometres off the coast of Western Africa (thank you Wikipedia). On this particular dive, I was in Santa Maria, the major city of Sal, the island in the north east of Cape Verde. There is 2 points for this video : - To show a nice wreck dive in a nice dive spot in Cape Verde. - To show the performances of an "out of the box" HD GoPro camera under water. I'm using nothing but the camera, the waterproof case and the head bang. I have not buy any other accessorie. The camera is placed on my front head, just on the top of my diving mask (you can see me putting off my mask at the end of the video). As you can see the image is very blue, and a bit blurred. This video was taken during my diving vacation in Cebu which included Malapascua, Mactan and Oslob. This was shot on the SD setting, it can be switched to HD (720p) if that's something you want to do.
