Oftmals musst du durch dunkle tiefen tauchen, oftmals auch gegen den Strom ankämpfen. Aber du schwimmst. Du schwimmst immer weiter, denn du gibst die Hoffnung nicht auf. Du kämpfst für deine Träume, denn du bist ein Schwimmer. Genau das ist die Idee hinter der Band "Schwimmer" die im Jahre 2010 in der kleinen, aber wunderschönen Stadt Lüneburg von Carsten (Drums) und Kevin (Gitarre) gegründet wurde. Schnell wurde auch mit Simon ein Bassist gefunden, der perfekt zur Musik von Schwimmer passte. Deutsch Rock der Hoffnung macht und anheizt. Nach einer langen Durststrecke ohne Sänger kam 2011 Daniel mit in die Band.Er verleiht Schwimmer mit seiner Stimme einen unverwechselbaren Charakter und unterstützt seit dem Kevin fleißig mit der Rythmusgitarre. Im Moment arbeiten die Jungs hart an ihrem ersten Album und nehmen Demos auf, was das Zeug hält. Einen ersten Vorgeschmack bietet ihre erste Single "Keine halben Sachen" die vor kurzem veröffentlicht wurde.

Chaz Bono cha cha'd onto the floor on the season premiere of "Dancing With The Stars" along with his partner Lacey Schwimmer, shimmying and shaking his way into millions of homes across America. The judge's verdict when the duo completed their number Monday night? A respectable 17 out of 30, with judge Carrie Ann Inaba telling Bono: "I think people have been waiting all night to see you Chaz and you did not disappoint. You can dance!" "It felt good. It was fun. I really wanna enjoy every second of this, even the tough times," Bono told "Nightline" anchor Cynthia McFadden. "You're in a state of nervousness all night. You don't get to sit back and enjoy it ... I had a great time doing it I think it was entertaining. I was in a total daze -- you don't think about the crowd," he added. "I'd like to be back as long as I can." Controversy has surrounded Bono, 42, since producers of the hit ABC dancing reality competition announced in August that not only would he be a Season 13 cast member but also be paired with a female dance partner. Backlash immediately erupted over his selection as the first transgender person to ever compete on the show. Various parenting, religious and political activists called for a boycott of the show, some saying that watching Bono would be "confusing for children."

Disney Channel star Kyle Massey and partner Lacey Schwimmer finished in third place with a total of 56 points on the judges' leaderboard after receiving 27 points for their Viennese Waltz and 29 points for their "instant" jive routine, including two tens from Inaba and Tonioli. For their insta-dance, Kyle and Lacey danced the the jive to "Good Golly Miss Molly" scoring 10s from both Carrie Ann and Bruno. They got a standing ovation from the audience. The pair earned a total score of 29, for a grand total of 56 out of 60.

Actor Kyle Massey finished Monday's episode in second place with 56 points out of a possible 60, Kyle took a page from Will Smith in Bel Air with his freestyle number, set to 69 Boyz's romping ditty "Tootsie Roll." Outfitted in a blindingly bright yellow shirt and matching blinged out graffitti'd hat, Kyle and Lacey threw caution to the wind and went to the left, to the left, to the right, to the right for their freestyle routine. And the crowd pleaser really did put his whole heart and soul (and both lungs) into the performance "Dancing With the Stars" allows the contestants to do a freestyle dance for the finals and Kyle Massey absolutely killed it with his freestyle hip hop boogaloo dance to "Tootsie Roll." Clad in neon yellow, Kyle and partner Lacey tore up the dance floor with flips, bootie shakin' and break dancing -- they even threw in a few actual ballroom moves. What really impressed us, though, was how the energy never flagged. You could tell that Kyle left it all out there because afterward, he was sucking some major wind backstage. But that's awesome, we love to see someone give it his all. The judges were big fans as well. Carrie Ann says, "This old Fly Girl dug it. I dub you the Fresh Prince of 'DWTS'" and Len Brits, "I'm not a great lover of the boogaloo dancing, but this was great fun, great entertainment and I thoroughly enjoyed it." think "boogaloo dancing" should be the new term for hip hop all across the globe?
