A host of jazz legends played, and at the conclusion Clinton called them all up on stage for a bow. He said a little speech, thanks for coming and goodnight, and then... almost as soon as he finished talking, people in the audience started yelling for him to play. And then the musicians all started asking him to play. He said no at first... but they eventually convinced him.

JAZZLAB: Mundstückübungen für Saxophon und Klarinette
Die Mundstückübungen für Saxophone und Klarinette sind eine der besten Methoden, um den ton kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Ausserdem können damit der Ansatz, die Atmung und die Artikulation optimal trainiert werden. Tägliche kurze Übungen -- etwa fünf Minuten genügen -- sind der Schlüssel zu einer höheren Sound- und Intonationsebene auf dem Instrument. Mit den Mundstückübungen werden genau jene Muskeln trainiert, die beim Spielen eines Saxophons oder einer Klarinette von Bedeutung sind: für den Sound, für die Intonation, für Spezialeffekte, wie Vibrato oder Bending, für High Tones (high notes, top tones, altissimo, flageolettes). Geeignet für Anfänger und erfahrene Spieler. Für klassische Musik, Blues, Soul, Funk, Rock oder Folks Wie ist das zu verstehen? Klangerzeugung, Sound, Klangfülle und vor allem die persönliche Ausdruckskraft werden ganz individuell im Mund- und Halsbereich gesteuert. Dabei spielen Lippen, Zunge, Gaumen, Kehlkopf, Stimmbänder und Atmung eine sehr wichtige Rolle. Das Zusammenspiel all dieser Punkte ist komplex, und es lässt sich kaum erklären, wie damit bestimmte Töne und ganz Melodien erzeugt werden.
