The Marble Mountains are a sub-range of the Klamath Mountains, in northwestern California. The highest point is Boulder Peak at 8299 feet (2530 m). The mountains are protected by the Marble Mountain Wilderness Area. The 242500-acre (981 km2) park is forested and contains 89 lakes stocked with trout. The area has many large streams and a plentiful ecosystem, including bear and deer. In July of 2000, a collection of fifteen hikers, many of them children with disabilities, went for a trip in the Marble Mountains near Fort Jones, California. The hikers carried a video camera on the journey. After finding some bizarre structures in the forest, including a den that was constructed out of large branches and twigs, the group turned the camera on. Minutes into the search, one of the teenage boys located a Bigfoot high on the ridge, over 750 yards from the hikers. What to Look For The Bigfoot is filmed for 3 minutes and 44 seconds as it walks down the mountain ridge. In order to get a clear view of the Sasquatch, the video has to be stabilized and enlarged, which is provided in the clip. After studying the film, it has become apparent that the creature does not act human. The body proportions are far too large and the limb movements are abnormal. The video confirms on almost every morphological point. After tree measurements were taken, the Bigfoot has been placed at over 8 feet (2.4m) tall. COMOX VALLEY - The author of a new book on Sasquatches believes the creature is alive and well and even living here on Vancouver Island. "The Discovery of the Sasquatch" is the second book penned by wildlife biologist John Bindernagel who, despite never seeing the creature himself, is considered one of the world's leading experts on Bigfoot. Bindernagel says his latest book was seven years in the making and he was compelled to publish it to try to make the subject less "taboo" within the scientific community. The author also hopes awareness of the book will make it easier for members of the public who may be eyewitnesses to come forward. Bindernagel says bigfoot sightings are more common than people realize but are often immediately discounted. He also predicts there are several people who have seen the creature but are afraid to talk about their encounters because they may have had bad experiences when recounting those sightings to friends or spouses. With the time consuming writing process now behind him Bindernagel is hoping to catch up on what he says is a growing file folder full of names of previous witnesses. Listen carefully to what Dr. Goodall says, she is one of the world's leading authorities on primates. The color copy of the Patterson Footage that I found on the 'net obviously has something wrong with it. It plays too fast. I believe the originator of that video clip may have assumed that the film was shot in 24fps (instead of the 16fps that it was probably shot in), resulting in the video being played 1/3 faster than natural speed. This creates an unrealistic motion in the creature's gait. I found that very annoying so I tried to fix it in this video. I included the MK Davis 'walking with bigfoot' enhancement footage, also.
