BASE-Bay Area Supernatural Encounters 2009 www.bayarease.com Back before the sanatorium was ever thought of, the land was purchased by Major Thomas H. Hays in 1883. Major Hays needed a school for his daughters to go to, so he started a one room school house down on pages lane and hired a woman whose name was Lizzie Lee Harris as the teacher. Miss Harris loved her tiny school nestling against the hillside, and remembered her fondness for Scott's Waverley novels, so she named her little school house "Waverley School." Major Hays liked the peaceful sounding name so he named his property "Waverley Hill" and the Board of Tuberculosis Hospital kept the name when they bought the land and opened the sanatorium. The Waverly Hills Sanatorium began with a two-story frame building, with a hipped roof and half timbering. Construction on this building began in 1908, and it opened on July 26, 1910. This building was only designed to safely accommodate 40-50 tuberculosis patients. Tuberculosis was a very serious disease back before antibiotics were discovered. People who were afflicted with tuberculosis had to be isolated from the general public and placed in an area where they could rest, stay calm, and have plenty of fresh air. Sanatoriums were built on high hills surrounded by peaceful woods to create a serene atmosphere to help the patients recover. This video was shot at Waverly Hills during the Darkness Radio/Ghost Adventures paranormal conference. We were on the 1st floor what we think was the "arts and crafts" section of Waverly when this anomaly appeared on our cameras. Billy also captured this anomaly flying around him and an EMF "PUMP", a device the emits energy for ghosts to use . This anomaly seemed to be interacting with us by coming closer when asked to. After seeing it on a larger screen it definitely has a different shape to it than the usual "orbs". It reminds me of a fishing lour or Army soldier toy parachute. A "live action" airsoft video, recorded with a HD GoPro Camera (R3). Very nice place, with part forest, part cqb. Too bad it was raining that day, the light was not good, so the images I have recorded are not very nice looking... But I hope you'll like it anyway :-) The games of the morning were shorts deathmatch games, where we used only our Gbbs. In the afternoon we had a big battlefield type game. I use a PX4 Tokyo Marui and a Scar Light Tokyo Marui. The tattoos on my arms are fake. Those are tattoo sleeves.

We used no microphone accessories but if we would have im sure we could have caught even more! It's reported that Timmy enjoys playing ball. Leading up to this video Erin and Jody were conducting an EVP session. Erin threw a ball down the hallway, asking that Timmy come and play. The ball proceded to roll into a patient room on the right side of the corridor. Walking into the room to find where the ball went, Jody found the ball tucked in the closest corner to the door they entered of another room that connected to the room the ball was thrown into. After rolling the ball into the center of the room Jody stopped the ball between his feet, making sure the ball would not roll. He then took a small step back and an absolute amazing thing happened. The ball, almost as if being controlled, rolled out into the middle of the room, rolled back towards Jody, did a complete circle around him, rolled six feet across the room and did a complete 360 circle around Erin. It then stopped dead in the center of the floor. Erin, who had been trying to get the camera out began filming at this point. There was a slight breeze blowing through the hospital, there always is, but even though the ball was light enough to be moved by the breeze the controlled movement of it still leaves the team questioning. SANATORUIM / Urban Exploration with or without numbing that movie continue ........here short urban exploration movie from the - Hospital of Horror - Beelitz Heilstaetten. You can see some abandoned buildings and certainly the surgery. Between 1898 and 1930 of the land assurance institution of Berlin worker-lung welfare sites established Beelitz-remedial sites form one of the biggest hospital complexes in the Berlin environs. It is a monument-protected ensemble of 60 buildings on a total area of approx. 200 ha. In two areas to the north of the railroad the lung welfare sites, in both areas situated to the south the sanitariums originated to the treatment not of contagious illnesses. The areas were separated in each case after genders: to the west of the country road the women-remedial sites and women's sanitariums, to the east the same the men-remedial sites and hubby sanitariums. Also lay factories in which predominantly women were occupied, to the west and those in which predominantly men were occupied, to the east. The first construction phase occurred in 1898 to 1902 among architects Heino to smiths and Julius Boethke (1864-1907). In the second construction phase 1908 till 1910 the bedspace from 600 to 1200 was raised.
