Taruni Sachdev Dies in Nepal Plane Crash
Tharuni sachdev was a famous child model and actress who appeared in over 50 ad films and several films including Malayalam films, Sathayam & Vellinakshthram and Hindi film 'Paa'. She died in a plane crash in Nepal on Monday, 14th May 2012. She was 14 years old. Tharuni and her mother Geetha Sachdev were among the 15 killed in the crash. Taruni Sachdev was one of the busiest kid model in the industry and she acted in several films also. Including Hindi film Paa and Malayalam film Vellinakshtram, Sathyam. She appeared in over 50 ad films, she went to Nepal along with her mother to visit a Temple.Unfortunately the plane crashed with 21 on board and 15 among them died in the crash and 6 survived.

Paa actress Taruni Sachdev dies in Nepal crash
Indian child artist Taruni Sachdev was among those who died in the Nepal plane crash on Monday. The 14-year-old had a cameo in the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 'Paa' and acted in numerous southern language films. She had also featured in over 50 commercials, including one with Karishma Kapoor. Taruni's mother who was accompanying her on the flight also died in the crash.

Taruni has also acted in many films. She is known her for her role in Hindi film Paa. In Malayalam, she has appeared in films Vellinakshatram and Sathyam. She is well-known for featuring along with Karisma Kapoor in the Rasna commercial saying 'I Love Love You Rasna'. Six others, including three Indians and two Danish nationals, miraculously survived the crash of the Dornier 9N AIG aircraft belonging to the private carrier Agni Air. The accident came nearly eight months after 10 Indians perished in an air disaster near here. The plane, which flew from the resort town of Pokhara on its way to Jomsom, crashed at 9.30am local time while landing at the mountain airstrip, said an official at Tribhuvan International Airport. The passengers had chartered the flight to take them from the central tourist hub of Pokhara to Muktinath, a famous Hindu pilgrimage centre in Jomsom near the Tibetan border at the foot of the Thorong La Himalayan mountain pass, the official said.

Taruni Sachdev of Paa and 'I love you Rasna' fame died an untimely sad death when a plane which she along with her mother Geetha Sachdev had board crashed as it hit a hill top while trying to land at the North Nepal airport, which was high in altitude. As per the officials of Tribhuvan International Airport, the child artiste and her mother were among 15 persons who were killed on Monday while travelling from Pokhara to Jomsom when plane crashed at around 9:30 in the morning local time. Besides, many commercials including Rasna where she shared the screen space with Karisma Kapoor, Taruni had acted in films too. She made her Bollywood debut as a child artiste in Paa. She also, played pivotal roles in two Malayam Movies Vellinakshatram and Sathyam. The little girl made a debut in television reality shows too as a replacement for a contestant named Shriya in one of the episodes of Shah Rukh Khan's show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? We at Daily Bhaskar pray for Taruni and her mother Geetha Sachdev's soul to rest in peace. Amin!
