This one website had some movie called "Simone" listed in Leann's filmography. No year, no cast list, no genre, no info, nothing. Being the investigative Diva I am I checked some sites and finally found this film called "S1m0ne" (starring Al Pacino) on Amazon UK. The DVD was in the mail only 3 days later and I started watching - looking out for Leann. But I simply couldn't find her. I've watched the film twice, checked the credits and Leann wasn't listed. Anyway, the film went straight to my DVD archive (I have tons of DVD's... I am a movie buff)... until today!!! Leann was on the Heart of Hollywood with Joe Sutton Radio Show and mentioned working with Al Pacino. And I have earned the title "Leann Vids Guru" and I know my stuff. I have memorized like every single guest appearance and role she has ever played (and I mean ever) and I couldn't think of any film with Al Pacino. Then she mentioned "Simone" and I knew I had to watch the film again. Did that today. Finally.... FINALLY... found Leann in one of the Deleted Scenes. Duh!! That's not fair! I didn't check the Deleted Scenes. I guess this is were it separates the wheat from the chaff. LMAO And I ...

Weil ihn die Hauptdarstellerin seines neuen Films sitzen gelassen hat, muss Regisseur Viktor Taransky eine Schauspielerin finden, die sie perfekt ersetzen kann. Die Lösung seines Problems heißt S1m0ne. Diese ist schön, hat Talent und ist somit beinahe perfekt. Denn einen Haken gibt es: S1m0ne existiert überhaupt nicht. Il Trailer Ufficiale in italiano di S1mone un film di Andrew Niccol. Con Al Pacino, Winona Ryder, Catherine Keener, Evan Rachel Wood, Jason Schwartzman. Titolo originale S1m0ne. Commedia, Ratings: Kids+13, durata 102 min. - USA 2002. Simone: bella, intelligente, docile e modesta, è l'attrice perfetta. Ma non è una donna in carne ed ossa, bensì una creatura virtuale, creata interamente al computer. Una commedia che è anche riflessione sul mondo del cinema. Victor Karanski (Pacino) è un regista di Hollywood che da anni passa da un fiasco all'altro. Il film che sta per terminare è compromesso dai capricci della diva che abbandona il set. Nessuna stella vuol lavorare con Victor che allora, grazie all'invenzione di un mattoide geniale e morente, riesce con un certo programma, a riprodurre virtualmente Simone, dalla strepitosa bellezza. L "attrice" ha un successo abnorme, alla Greta Garbo, il mondo impazzisce per lei, che non si mostra mai in pubblico. Victor riesce a farla apparire in televisione, a farla cantare in uno stadio, ma nessuno la vedrà mai, naturalmente, dal vivo. Il regista è stato abbandonato dalla moglie che si scopre gelosa di Simone. Il "privato" è omai troppo connesso col virtuale, e Victor viene accusato della morte di Simone, introvabile, appunto.
