No doubt the majority of you will have already heard of Excision, one of the leading lights of the North American dubstep scene. His studio mixes have received over 60000 downloads from one file sharing site alone, while his Rottun Recordings label regularly tops the sales charts, stacking up thousands of sales for each release on Beatport alone! Recently his official remix of Pendulum's 'Showdown' brought the sound of filthy dubstep to the masses and has clocked up over 120000 plays on the band's Myspace page. Meanwhile DJs such as BBC 1Xtra's Mistajam have been all over his signature sound. With so much attention from clubland and the media alike, Excision thought it was time to start a new imprint, geared to release the very biggest of the tracks in his record box.
