✖ Storyline ✖ In a couple, there are ups and downs. Ron & Hermione have been experiencing it. Ron was hoping that they'd have achieved something in their relationship, he wasn't confident enough about making Hermione happy, was he capable of it? could he be better (than Harry) ? was she really happy with him or only pretending it, and longing more for Harry. Drugs slowly drags him down. Hermione is trying to help, but not making enough effort, thinking that a time off would be better, which makes Ron angry. they get into a fight, Ron leaves, and gets lost in the middle of a place where he gets swallowed by drugs. Hermione has ran away to Harry. Ron experiences the dark sides of drugs and opens his eyes : what am i doing? He makes his way back to Hermione. On his road, he notices that his friends are in danger. Without doubting a second, he starts running to the forest, and catches Hermione right in time before she falls. They manage to escape thanks to Ron, but he gets injured by Bellatrix's curse. Hermione rushes to him and realises how much they really care for each other, more than ever. Ron recovers with time, words were unecessary, Ron didn't need to be worried, Hermione was already happy by being with him. Vulnerable: A Tribute to Ron Weasley
WARNING: There is a MAJOR Deathly Hallows spoiler at the end of this video. Don't say I didn't warn you... *** Summary: When I heard this song, it sort of seemed like the perfect description of Ron's feelings towards Hermione, 'cuz he's all scared and afraid that she doesn't like him and whatnot. (Awwww....) Anyway, I tried to fit the clips to the lyrics, put them in chronological order, and make it all make sense as best as I could. I realize that the middle bit is a little confusing, so let me explain: When the song says "I can be anyone, anything" the clips of the fight don't really seem like they fit the lyrics, but they do. I was trying to make it seem like Ron was saying that he could be "anyone, anything" to Hermione in his defense when she is yelling at him for being jealous. (Yea, I know that's not really what he's saying, but I think I deserve a little artistic license.) Overshadowed {Ron Weasley} [SYTYCV]
The quote at the beginning is taken out of the locket scene in DH {Chapter 19, The Silver Doe for all you muggles}. When I found out what this challenge was, well...there was only one clear choice for me. I just have so many feelings when it comes to this boy that I could probably write a 15 page essay about him. That's not an exaggeration. I just love him so much and I will never forgive the film's bastardised portrayal of him. {JUDGES NOTES: The main focus of this is obviously how Ron's always been in Harry's shadow, and how his destroying the locket (which is essentially a symbol of all his fears and insecurities) is a real turning point in his life. He realises how he is needed in his friendship to Harry and Hermione, that he isn't just the 'third wheel'. What also helps his fear of being overshadowed, is the fact that Hermione chose him in the end, not Harry.} The screencaps to choose from for this video were an absolute fail. Only one of them had Ron in and he looks a bit derpy and it's not really showing the emotion behind the video and just BLARGH! All song info is in the credits. Thanks for watching!
