I love the 2 weeks that I get to get away from society for a change. I rode Frippon again, I love that horse. I saw Marge, but no one else from yt. This was definitely an amazing two weeks, I got to swim with Morgen in the river, and we hiked up to bucks knoll, which is a giant hill basically. Singdown, & Archie made camp just that much better. Shifter Kart Racing at Rimrock Raceway - 6-26-2011
Date: 6-26-2011 Track: Rimrock Raceway in Midland, TX Class: Stock Moto Shifter Drivers: Dave Ogburn, Joe Smith, Stuart Hembree Joe, Stuart, and I brought our shifter karts to Rimrock Raceway this past Sunday. Instead of just running practice session, we decided to run a simulated race day. We one practice session, a 2-lap qualifying session, and then 4 5-lap races. We ran short races to keep our engines from getting too hot in the 100+ degree Midland heat. I won the first 2 races and Joe took victories in the final 2 races. Overall, it was a fun day and great practice for passing, not getting passed, and our standing starts.
