RGM-84 Harpoon Anti-Ship Missiles
The Harpoon is an all-weather, over-the-horizon, anti-ship missile system, developed and manufactured by the McDonnell Douglas Corporation of the United States of America, with manufacturing now taken over by Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, the new owner of its factory in Missouri. In 2004, Boeing delivered the 7000th Harpoon unit since the weapon's introduction in 1977. The missile system has also been further developed into a land-strike weapon, the Standoff Land Attack Missile (SLAM). The regular Harpoon uses active radar homing, and a low-level, sea-skimming cruise trajectory to improve survivability and lethality. The missile's launch platforms include: * Fixed-wing aircraft (the AGM-84, made without the solid-fueled booster) * Surface ships (the RGM-84, fitted with a solid-fueled rocket booster that detaches when expended, to allow the missile's main turbojet to maintain flight) * Submarines (the UGM-84, fitted with a solid-rocket launch booster and encapsulated in a container to enable submerged launch through a torpedo tube); Coastal defense batteries, from which it would be fired with a solid-fueled booster. Ibanez RG350M RGM guitar - metal review
Although my main players are higher end 90s Ibanez Universe models, I wanted to grab another Ibanez to experiment with Drop C tunings. I also didn't want to spend a ton of cash. The one that caught my eye was the newer RG350M. I love the old school RG550-ish styling, along with the maple fretboard, wild color scheme & slick Wizard III neck. For some reason, the green one (RGM) has the Edge Zero II trem with the Zero Point System & the other colors (SLB & YE) have the less-than-spectacular Edge III. The Edge Zero II is a fantastic trem that let's you go nuts, yet has excellent tuning stability. Ibanez should definately consider ditching the Edge III all together. And I will say that the pickups are pretty nice as well, but throwing in a nice set of Dimarzio pups will be my next investment. For $429 via American Musical Supply (where I got it & excellent service), the Ibanez RG350M (RGM in particular) is an absolute steal for what you're getting. It's a solid gig worthy axe & can accomplish a ton of styles & flavors. I'm really hoping Ibanez will add the older RG550s back into the lineup & keep going with the wilder paint schemes. Black is cool, but it's not the only color guitarists dig. And honestly, the RG series is geared for those of us who like our brand of music heavy, so I basically stuck to that. ODI TOP END RUN BMW CAR CLUB & RGMOTORSPORT SATURDAY 8TH OCTOBER 2011 The day started off for the RGM team at 5.30am at our premises in Randburg. By 6.30 we were on our way to ODI, excited at the prospect of a great day of shake downs. Apart from a garage stop and Rob being stopped by the Pretoria Metro, not once but twice, we arrived at ODI ready for what would turn out to be a great day of racing, sun, wind and some awesome times set in our BMW's as well those of our clients. The days event was 1km and 400m runs , and some of the competitors only did part of the event , one or the other, which theoretically should not of qualify them for the full day event. Be that as it may, RGM will ensure that the next event we sponsor, everyone is well aware and it is very clear that you need to take part in both sections of the event, and in this case would need to do at least a minimum of two 1km runs and two 400m runs. If you have a look at the official results on the BMW Car Club website or you were there you will notice that most of the cars that set up fantastic top speeds for the day did not take part in the 400m, some due to engine failure and being removed from the circuit on a trailer and others not built to shape on the 400m.RGM alongside with all the competitors that did both the 1km and the 400m ideally know where you guys came for the day. We did manage to salvage overall quickest 400m for the day, out of a total of 63 entries, in the RGM 1000bhp Supercharged BMW CSL ...

The 2010 Royal Gold Medallist, Chinese American IM Pei is 92 and preferred to be interviewed instead of giving the customary lecture. So architect David Adjaye, who nominated him, and the RIBAs Head of Awards, Tony Chapman, a former BBC TV producer, went to New York to make a film with him. This 10 minute film is an edited version of the 35 minute film shown instead of the lecture, and of the 13 minute film shown at the Royal Gold Medal Dinner, when Pei was presented with the Medal. It features an interview and examples of his work over five decades.

Beyond the fine finishing on the surfaces of movement and the blued screws, RGM has taken pains to ensure that many fine technical features of the 801 Caliber will correspond to high levels of traditional craftsmanship. It is the intention of Roland G. Murphy, the passionate head of RGM, to offer connoisseurs the finest in exclusive American haute horlogerie. While a few components such as the balance wheel, hairspring, and jewels are obtained from Switzerland, the production of the plates, bridges, and other components are all done in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, as are the machining, jewel setting, movement finishing, assembly, and adjustment. The dials feature elaborate guilloche patterns, which are cut in the traditional manner on a rose engine; hands are of the "Breguet" style and are in blued steel. RGM expects to offer clients bespoke guilloche dial patterns and movement engravings.
