The Remu Synagogue was built in Kazimierz, then a village outside Kraków, in an area located on the bank of the Vistula River, immediately to the south of the Royal Castle on the Wawel Hill. Kazimierz had a Jewish community since the 14th century, and after the end of the 15th century when the Jews of Kraków were expelled from the city, it became the main Jewish neighborhood in the region and one of the largest Jewish communities in Poland. Originally called the "New Synagogue" to distinguish it from the Old Synagogue, (Stara Boznica in Polish), the Remuh Synagogue was built in 1553 at the edge of a newly established Jewish cemetery (today known as the "Old Cemetery") on land owned by Israel ben Josef. This date is stated clearly on the foundation tablet. Nevertheless, the royal permission by King Sigismund II Augustus of Poland was obtained in November 1556, after long opposition from the Church. As it is hard to believe that the construction actually began without the royal permission, the inscription should therefore be understood as possibly referring to the date when the decision to build a second synagogue in Kazimierz was taken by its founder. The first building of the synagogue, probably a wooden structure, was destroyed in a fire in April 1557, but following a new permission granted by King Sigismund II Augustus, a second building of masonry was erected in place in 1557 after the plans of Stanisław Baranek, a Kraków architect. The small REMU Big Float is suitable for small sites thanks to the really easy transportability. The total weight being only 12 150 kg, the Big Float can be transported even with a 3-axle truck. Its small size also makes the land work reasonable and smooth, for example with easier access to difficult locations. The machine can be moved to the job site using waterways, if the target is difficult to access by road. Although the machine is small, dredging is successful even more than 4 meters deep, which of course requires extra pontoons. As the machine is smaller, the fuel consumption is lower. The patented structure allows the pontoons to be widened when working on soft soil or shallow water, so the stability of excavation work will improve significantly. Small REMU Big Float is ideal for laying cables and pipes on the shore. The machine can be equipped with extra pontoons and anchoring legs and propellers. Undercarriage consists of almost the same components as the standard excavator undercarriage, so the need for maintenance is minimal. In addition, REMU Big Float is possible to equip according to the client's needs, and with any base machine.

Working with REMU screening buckets in a compost field. The most important property is effectiveness with difficult and wet materials. REMU screens are also suited well with materials with high content of clay. The REMU screening buckets genuinely separates fine and coarse material and it does not crush bigger particles to sharp fires, which could be a problem among the separated material.
