Relaxation Therapy
I want to spend the next several minutes just talking to you. The objective here is that you might become as comfortable and relaxed as possible. This is not hypnosis, it is not brain washing, I am simply going to instruct you in how properly to allow yourself to relax. Relaxation is not simply important for your physical self, it will positively affect your spirit, your mind, your body and your overall well being. Those unable to relax, often suffer from an inability to focus their concentration. This exercise will allow you to do this. To be effective, this exercise will require you to have no direct distractions. Nothing that will divide your attention in any fashion, you will want to find a chair or couch that is comfortable. Turn off the television or radio, turn down the lights and relax. This is not a 'screamer' - it is an actual relaxation exercise....

Massage - Core Relaxation Technique
This is a great example of my Core Relaxation Technique. Notice how I work light to medium, to deep for greater comfort and effectiveness. The process of using my weight to brace the spine in order to work deep into the muscle of the spine, front and back. I address the deep layers of muscle including the spinal erectors and even psoas. My weight is distributed accross the pelvis, for a deep compression pumping action of the lymph and blood of the lower organs, iliacus, psoas, glutes, shu points along the rib joints, and the pressure points at the sacrum. The deep portions, especially, the portions which I use my entire weight for compression are absolutely conraindicated for paitients who have severe spinal injuries in the acute stage or for persons with fragile skeletons. The technique is absolutely indicated for those who have large dense muscles, strong bones, and stress in the glutes and lower back. In the right manner, music can bring lightness into a serious situation. Relaxing music therapy can heal, soothe and bring calm tot an agitated mind. Defining "relaxing music" seems a matter of personal choice. Some people find the serene sounds of the waterfall and chirping birds relaxing while others relax with their favorite hard rock. How Does It Work? The therapeutic effect of relaxing sounds seems to have a scientific definition of its own. When the human brain is relaxed it produces more alpha brain waves. When a person is stressed out, his brain produces more beta and theta waves. Beta and theta waves are faster changing brain waves than alpha waves. Within the fight-or-flee logic of a sudden stressful situation, the human brain processes seem to speed up to act faster. This can be helpful in short, specific moments, but it is counter productive when it becomes a chronically state of being.
