Recordings 1 - Introduction Vlog
I experienced paranormal activity in my home for several weeks; I even thought a video game of mine was somehow connected to these events. After searching for answers for about a month, I received an email from someone who claimed to know who the person haunting me was. The email seemed to tie up the loose ends on why all these things were happening, but something was very strange about it all. Suddenly and abruptly after getting this email, the paranormal activity in my house stopped. Also, upon further review, the first letter of each of the paragraphs in this email spelled out "ALL LIES." Another strange thing I experienced was a YouTube channel (01A51CD0) that seemed to predict all the paranormal events that would happen to me before they actually happened. I concluded that the person who sent me the email was most likely the person behind the strange code channel. Since the paranormal activity had stopped in my home, and since the whole ordeal interested me so much, I decided to start a paranormal series entitled "Recordings" where my friends and I would investigate reported haunted locations around the area. That's why the recording you hear is so clean and crisp - and the sound is actually surprisingly good in the Copenhagen metro. We did this deliberately because we feel that a good sound experience is vital when trying to portray the actual experience that day. Further to the main recording, when the train was standing still, the recordings from the cameras was, as far as possible, mixed into the sound. Quote from the sound technician: I recorded the sound with XY Oktava MK-012 supercardioid microphones close to the soloists and a set of DPA 4060 omnidirectional microphones as overhead for the rest of the orchestra. For some of the closeupshots, the cameramikes (Sennheiser ME 66) was added.

Platters - Smoke Gets In Your Eyes (Original)
"Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" was composed by Jerome Kern and Otto Harbach for the 1933 operetta, "Roberta", and was featured in the film adaptation starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The first popular recording of the song was done by the Paul Whiteman Orchestra with Bob Lawrence on vocal. The song has since become a standard recorded by many, but none more successfully than by The Platters in 1958. The Platters had already established a pattern of reviving old standards with new and fresh arrangements, and although "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" didn't seem at first as any different than those songs they had recorded before, the Jerome Kern estate at first objected to the idea of having a rock and roll group sing this song. That is, until the royalty checks started rolling in and all objections were withdrawn. "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" was one of The Platters' greatest recordings reaching #1 in late December of '58 and continuing into 1959. Tony Williams provided this magnificent vocal for The Platters.
