The Zombie Song Analysis - The Zombie Song Analysis: Episode 6 (Not Ready to Die)
In this video we analyse the lyrics to the song 'Not Ready to Die' which was composed and performed by Avenged Sevenfold. This is the sixth of 8 episodes each analysing the lyrics to the Easter Egg songs in all of the Call of Duty: Nazi Zombies maps in the order: Lullaby For a Dead Man, The One, Beauty of Annihilation, 115, Abracadvre, Not Ready to Die, Pareidolia and finally Coming Home. This song is actually different from most of the others as not only is it performed by a different group, but it is also written in Richtofen's perspective whereas most of the others are about Samantha. These videos may look simple but they are in fact really hard to make as I have to get the lyrics, analyse them and edit the particular verses out of each song which takes a lot of time, all on my netbook. This song is also rather long so there were many more lyrics to analyse. I'm looking forward to doing Pareidolia as I like the song and I'm guessing there's gonna be loads of hidden meanings in it and loadsa riddles :D Although I have to say I really hated doing this song because as many of you probably know, I really dislike this song, so listening to it well over 50 times in a short amount of time was torture. Christopher George Latore Wallace (May 21, 1972 -- March 9, 1997) was an American rapper. He was popularly known as Biggie Smalls (after a character in the 1975 film Let's Do It Again), Big Poppa. and The Black Frank White (after the main character of the 1990 film King of New York), but primarily by his stage name The Notorious BIG. Wallace was raised in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. When Wallace released his debut album Ready to Die in 1994, he became a central figure in the East Coast hip-hop scene and increased New York's visibility at a time when West Coast artists were more common in the mainstream. The following year, Wallace led his childhood friends to chart success through his protégé group, Junior MAFIA. While recording his second album, Wallace was heavily involved in the East Coast/West Coast hip-hop feud, dominating the scene at the time. On March 9, 1997, Wallace was killed by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. His double-disc set Life After Death, released 15 days later, hit #1 on the US album charts and was certified Diamond in 2000 (one of the few hip hop albums to receive this certification). Wallace was noted for his "loose, easy flow", dark semi-autobiographical lyrics and storytelling abilities. Since his death, a further two albums have been released.
