Qigong - China
July 1995 Qigong is the art of harnessing the force that is said to give nature its pattern. Millions of Chinese get out of bed for it every morning. A qualified physiotherapist uses it to treat her patients. People break bricks in half with it. And it's more dedicated followers believe that it can help beat cancer. Followers believe that Qigong energy can be transferred from one person to another. They say that mice infused with Qigong energy can swim longer than mice without it. In China mass healings are carried out using the energy. There is no doubt Qigong keeps its followers fit and healthy. And although there is scepticism about its more tenuous abilities, for millions of Chinese, Qigong works. Produced by ABC Australia Distributed by Journeyman Pictures

A clip from the PBS documentary: "Qigong - Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century" by Francesco Garri Garripoli www.wujiproductions.com A Detroit Public TV documentary on Master Duan Zhi-Liang, a Wuji Qigong Master. "The essence of all evolution in nature emerges from chaos, by understanding the infinite energy that is always available to us we can flow naturally with the chaotic rythms of the universe. Try to avoid patterns and repetition, mix things up, and let chi flow smoothly. Remain flexible and relaxed in all you do, this is to truly understand chi kung. Experiencing the deep and synchronized breathing of chi kung, connects us to the original breath that created the universe."
Qigong - Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century
10 minute overview of the PBS documentary "Qigong - Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century" by Francesco Garri Garripoli www.kahunavalley.org . Visit the Qigong Institute www.qigonginstitute.org for more information on Qigong and Tai Chi and how to take responsiblity for your own health. Qigong is a form of moving meditation and one of the most profound health practices ever invented by mankind. A combination of gentle movement, deep abdominal breathing, and clearing the mind puts your autonomic nervous system into the relaxation response (regeneration, relaxation) mode. A primary outcome of the practice is a reduction in stress, increase in the size of blood vessels, and enhanced immune system.
Liver Purification Qigong
Our livers are being over-taxed by stimulation and pollution that is prevalent in our culture and environment. The pollutants in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat all strain our livers, as does the over-abundance of visual stimulation. Because of the daily impact of our busy 21st century lives, it is important to cleanse or purify the liver on a regular basis. In Chinese medicine, Spring is associated with the Liver and the most optimal time to cleanse. After the deep, inner energy of the dark Winter, daylight increases and the energy begins to spread. The energetic function of the Liver is responsible for the free flow of qi and blood in the body. With a polluted and stressed Liver, the flow of qi and blood is constrained. When this occurs, one may experience mood swings, gynecological issues, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue or eye issues. This routine comes from the Six Sounds Therapy Form, a complete version of all routines are available on DVD on our website - www.linggui.org. This video is intended for use as an informational guide. The techniques and theories described herein are meant to supplement, and not be a substitute for, professional medical care or treatment.

Wudang Wuxing Qigong
Tai Yi Wu Xing Qi Gong, 太乙五形气功, is a outstanding qi gong which was passed on from generations to generations. Someone also names it as Five-Animal Qi Gong. Wu Xing means immitation of five animals, tiger, tortoise, snake, dragon, tiger, crane. Those five animals are bravest and holiest representatives from Chinese traditional history. It was originated by the most famous ancient doctor Hua Tuo ( during Dynasty of Three Kingdoms). It combines respiration, navigating Qi in body, attacking and defending skills as well. From old times till now, every Wudang disciple has to learn and practice it. During practice, the mind-will becomes more significant than than strength. This give rise to the fact that accommodating yourself to what is up is more necessary and effective than direct repelling. The body has to relaxedly act slowly, smoothly and naturally. When practiced well, it looks like worming snakes, yet in fact, it achieves the effect of as forceful as a thick callus, in well attainment of overcoming vigor while flexibility is well preserved.

The Missing Component of Tai Chi & Qigong Practice - The Dan Tian. From www.internalgardens.com
www.internalgardens.com Using the dantian (tai tien) properly in tai chi chuan (taijiquan) and qigong practice is crucial. Most people don't even know what "dan tian" means. The dan tian may be the lost link to making tai chi and qi gong the arts of spiritual and alchemical transformation instead of just for health and basic martial arts techniques. The term "dan tian" comes from old Taoist alchemical waidan and neidan practices. Used properly, it may slow down or reverse the aging ageing process. It may also be the missing key to Taoism's implied law of attraction and manifestation arts. Master Jou Tsung Hwa was renowned for his heavy emphasis on qi cultivation via the dan tian. Shifu Loretta Wollering of Internal Gardens Tai Chi speaks about this topic here and continues the curriculum of Master Jou Tsung Hwa and Tai Chi Farm. www.youtube.com

Chinese traditional qi gong treatment for prostate problems and penis enlargement excersizes
www.biggertool.blogspot.com Chinese traditional qi gong treatment for prostate problems penis enlargement excersizes This was originally aired 2 years ago (2005) on CBC Hemispheres. A unusual story from Taipei, Taiwan about a treatment for prostate problems. I had to record it because it was just so amusing and bizarre. Its based on Qigong (Chi Gong) healing techniques and is said to shrink enlarged prostates and result in healing and improved sexual functions. Very funny story, complete with, oh yes, the classic "truck pull". Credit goes to Eric Campbell from Australian Broadcasting Corp. (ABC).
