Punk Attitude Documentary Part 1
Punk: Attitude is a documentary on the history of punk rock in the USA and UK. The film traces the different styles of punk from their roots in 60s garage and psychedelic bands (Count Five, the Stooges) through glam-punk (New York Dolls) to the 70s New York and London scenes and into the hardcore present. Interviews with many of the musicians are edited with live clips and historical footage.

This is Daft Punk's Technologic (the full thing, not the Radio Edit). I made a video for the regular version using ONLY clips from the radio edit video. I did my best, so please enjoy. PS: This video has a lot of the same stuff happening over and over. That's because when you're trying to make something that's longer than the source you're using, you may have to reuse clips. Plus, I think they all fit like this. Also, there's probably sync issues between the video and audio. Just keep watching and deal with it.

The literal meaning of it is that Jimmy goes to a concert, and feels like he's been blown off and let down by rock and roll. But, if you want to look deeper, it's about conformity, and The Who themselves. The "punk"-representing culture-is telling the "godfather" how to live, what to do, and that they are living off of each other. "breathe the air we have blown you", "only earn what we gave you", and that Townshend wields an "axe of dying nation". The Who-at least Pete, their driving force-were never mods. But the mods liked them. He was being made by the culture-sort of a role reversal.
