Prometeus Guitars Ahab 32" + [sfx] M:D2 preamp
Just finished the bass and got the M:D2 preamp in the mail... what a nice day! :-) Plugged the bass straight thru the preamp/DI into the power amp and my 18" cab. I have to be honest... I'm in love with the sound of this bass. Shame it has to go!
Prometeus Guitars Swan 5
As usual, taken "live" with the bass played thru Markbass LM2 (flat eq.) on my 2x12" "Tigercab". As you can hear there's no hum with my single coil pickups. The exceptional hi end response is given by the hard wood chosen for the construction and my Neo pickups. The slight distorsion you hear on volume peaks is coming from the camera.

Ultraman Tiga and Dyna - Prometeus Deathfacer Music Video
Screenshot from the movie Ultraman Tiga and Dyna : Warriors of the Star of Light It was one of the greatest movie in Ultraman history I would say. Too bad Hiroshi Nagano (長野博) is not in the movie as tiga.. I was kinda disappointed back then. Deathfacer is so badass and really remarkable in this movie as he's somewhat Dyna's arch-enemy. Anyway I pick the 22th soundtrack from Dyna OST and put it in the video. I hope there are some other people out there love this movie like me. Please notify me if I accidently violated any copyright law or anything, I will get rid of this video asap. Leave comment if you like it~~
Ashdown LittleGiant 1000 test drive with Prometeus Guitars
Heard lots of complaints about this bass head so I ended up buying. I've read that it has input troubles (not enough gain) but with my bass it works pretty good. The bass is a Nuvolari 4 strings with Bubinga body, Wengé neck and Bocote fingerboard. FireKeeper humbucker pickup (passive) and 040 Warwick Red Label strings... all of this thru by "Rat Cab" 12". Please notice that the cab didn't have the tweeter in this video!
Prometeus Guitars - Namor 34"
Usual rig but a bit unusual instrument... this is the prototype of my new body shape NAMOR. Equipped with two of my single coil FireKeeper pickups this thing sounds very clear and punchy. 030 GHS strings. The woods are: sappy Ovangkol for the body, Wengé for neck and Ziricote for the fingerboard. It's rear routed with vol/vol/tone.

A short clip recorded with my Majesty 4 34". This bass isn't from my latest production but I upgraded it with new pickups (Neo humbuckers). Solid Padouk body, Ovangkol neck, lined Wengé fingerboard with 21 "frets". Recorded without preamp, no eq... straight into the mixer. No effects, just the raw sound of the bass with 040 Warwick Red Label strings. Enjoy (or at least try to!) :-D

Prometeus Guitars Nuvolari 10 strings multiscale clip
As usual straight into the mixer, a bit of hum due to the 3db boost of volume. A bit of reverb, that's all. Of course it's just a demo made to let you hear how lowest/highest strings sound as I'm not able to play such a big instrument. :-) Haters of extended range basses will keep saying "It's not a bass/it's a guitar/who needs that many strings?" etc. Listen of Yves Carbonne, Jean Baudin, Bill DIckens or even Tosin Abasi (8 strings guitar) and you COULD understand what's the point in these axes. :-)

Prometeus Guitars - Stalker 32" test drive
As usual, played thru my Ashdown LittleGiant1000 in flat and my 12" cab. The bass has two FireKeeper single coils - this is a rare feature. They're whisper quiet but don't make the lack of hum fool you... they're definitely single coils :-)
Prometeus Guitars - Carthago guitar prototype test drive
Sorry for the low volume, I was afraid the camera mic could distort. As you know I only play bass and wasn't able to shoot a video for my guitar so I called this friend who can really play properly and we had fun :-) The guitar is played in flat on my full-range stack with a Behringer effects unit for reverbs/distorsions. Specs of the guitar: 65cm scale, 24 frets, quarter-sawn Chestnut neck with Bubinga fingerboard (radius 20"), book-matched italian black Walnut, 2 alnico pickups (single at the neck, humbucker at bridge) with Bubinga covers. I still have to replace the hardware and the nut with the definitive ones (Schaller). The guitar is very sleek and light (under 3kg, I guess about 2.7) and I had very very good feedbacks from players. I'm happy... shame I can't play it :-p

Just finished this puppy but unfortunately also got a pretty bad cold that made me almost deaf and totally dizzy :-D Short clip in flat with a bit of reverb. Both pickups with tone knobs open. Recorded a part with pickups soled but it wasn't in the wave file, don't know why :-/

Sloppy playing but I had fun :-) The bass is a 34" scale, 24 frets, Wengé fingerboard on quarter-sawn Ash neck, Afzelia body, AlNiCo5 Firekeeper humbucker, volume and tone.

Prometeus Guitars Concertogrosso 30"
Built this bass in December but left it unfinished for months as I was pretty busy :-p Finally in July I decided to sand and finish it, tried a couple of different pickups on it but ended up sticking with the "Duality" model, a special pickup that has FOUR humbuckers in it, one under each string. This gives you a tone close to low impedance pickups but with a high output. Played in flat without eq. or effects. I didn't even use a DI, it was plugged directly into a cheap mixer and then into the soundcard. Played "freely" just to let you hear its real voice. Plucked with tone knob open, closed, half-way. Slapped and picked with fingernails.
