PM if you have a trade offer.Question- Who are your favorite composers?Answer- The list changes constantly, but Adamek, Xenakis, Ginastera, Bussotti, Hurel, Durand, Taira, Andre, Barrett, Sciarrino, and Dumitrescu are always up there.Question- Are you a composer, teacher or performer?Answer- My previous emphasis in music was piano performance, but has since changed to composition. I am neither a professional pianist nor composer. I can play to an acceptable level most works that I have uploaded, and have had a few solo/chamber pieces performed, but that is all. My compositional style would be described as a more organic approach to spectral procedures (acousmatic and non-representative construction of systems), with emphases on macro constraint, post-spectral systemic modelling and timbral transformation. My primary interests are in the sociological qualifications and aesthetic theory of contemporary music. Formally, I study mathematics and philosophy, as opposed to music.Question- Why are you such a dick?Answer- Good question, fuck face. The reason that I might be a dick to you is as follows. Your comment(s) are probably comprised of a combination of most of the following:1- A disregard for my time (and/or the amount of time I put into this), i.e. asking me something that Google can tell you, or asking me to send you something.2- Superficial and unimportant.3- Asked with the primary reason of internally associating yourself with a material that you believe to be "intellectual."4- You believing that I am somehow obligated to send you things, to never make typos and to magically ensure that my music software never messes up the file, when I am providing a free service to you.5- An argument showing poor logic, and typically utilizing terms that you do not define and/or understand, not to mention often containing factual errors and/or subjective opinion that you state as fact.6- Pure flaming.These comments comprise 90% that I receive, and none of them deserve a real conversation. I'm not going to be held to a double-standard regarding the effort I have to put into a conversation (on top of the effort I put into giving you this free music), nor do I consider youtube comment fields, with their 500 character limits, the place to do it. I give what I get.
