In January 2012, work will begin on a brand new children's television show for LFC TV, the club's official channel. After advertising online for new presenters, 48 fantastically talented children turned up at Anfield on Tuesday night to stake a claim for a role in the show. Each child was asked why they should be picked to be a presenter by LFC TV.
Two Dutch TV presenters eat each other's flesh on TV show
Two Dutch TV presenters are set to make history with a macabre broadcast stunt. Each presenter has eaten the flesh of the other - and the disgusting meal will be broadcast on their show. Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno both underwent surgery to have a small piece of muscle removed. They then fried each other's meat and ate it in front of a studio audience. The bizarre stunt was part of a TV show on BNN called Proefkonijnen - meaning 'Guinea Pigs' - in which they try to answer 'stupid questions' by undergoing unusual challenges. Mr Storm opted to lose a chunk of his backside, while Mr Zeno's meat came from his abdomen. The pair claimed that 'nothing is really that special' about human meat, which they ate without any seasoning - but they have so far refused to say how it tasted. Mr Storm admitted that 'it is weird to look into the eyes of a friend when you are chewing on his belly,' according to ABC News, but said that he did not regret his decision. He said: 'It was just a few centimetres of meat - and now I have a good story about that scar.' They insist that their stunt was entirely legal as both entered into the cannibalistic pact voluntarily. A lawyer advised the programme's producers that while cannibalism is not itself against the law, the presenters or the surgeon who operated on them could run in to legal difficulties. And the presenters also claim that there is no risk of ill health, as long as the human meat is properly cooked.

Cerrie Burnell, 29, who was born with one arm, sparked heated message board debate after she was hired a month ago to appear on CBeebies, the BBC's digital children's channel. One woman who called herself "Chiara's mum," wrote, "My daughter won't watch with the new presenters. She is only 2 and notices the lady's arm has gone. She thinks she is hurt every day." One father said the show would give his daughter nightmares, and others said their children were too young to cope or even that the BBC was too aggressive in its policy to hire "minorities" to meet quotas. Since the initial comments appeared, advocacy groups and parents of those born with "limb deficiencies" have seized on the story as a teachable moment. "I find comments from complaining parents very hurtful," said Julie Detheridge of Coventry, whose 9-year-old son who was born without a right hand. "Should my son be kept locked away in case he frightens someone?" she asked. "He is no less of a person just because he was born with part of his hand missing." Tomasz Schafermaker made the gesture at presenters Simon McCoy and Fiona Armstrong on the BBC News channel. They said his forecast would be "100% accurate and provide all the detail you could possibly want". The flustered weather presenter then realised he had been caught on camera and tried to cover up what he was doing by scratching his chin. A BBC spokesman said: "Tomasz was not aware that he was on air, and whilst the gesture was only shown for a second, it was not acceptable. "The News Channel presenter live in the studio acknowledged a mistake had been made, and we apologise for any offence caused." The Polish-born weatherman began presenting on BBC Southeast Today in 2001 before joining the main BBC channels in 2006.

Wiimote Presenter
Visit jasonlpsmith.googlepages.com to download the program or source code. This program was developed for the Wiimote (Nintendo Wii remote controller) with a PC for use with PowerPoint presentations, timing, mouse control, media control and can be used with one or two screens. You will need - PC with MS Windows - Microsoft .NET 3.5 - Bluetooth (it must be compatible with the Wiimote) - Infrared source (lit candle or IR LED, only required for pointer function) I had set the B button to enable momentary mouse control. In the video the wiimote infrared camera only controls the mouse while I am pressing the B button. Getting your Wiimote to connect to your PC can be difficult with different PCs. My Samsung X25 laptop (with built in bluetooth) had no problems, other bluetooth interfaces are different. If it doesn't work for you please try a Google search for "connect wiimote PC". There is plenty of information out there about connecting a wiimote to a PC, but it may not be a simple process. I don't actually own any gaming console, I just purchased the handheld controller after seeing what it can do in Johnny Lee's impressive video. If you find any bugs, please give a detailed description so it can be fixed. To run the program, extract the zip file and run the file WiimotePresenter.exe. You will need .NET 3.5 and a compatible Bluetooth connection.
