The resulting film, "Bluegrass Roots" lets you hear and experience the hard scrabbling, dirt road real people sounds that dominated the back country of the southern mountains 40 years ago. It presents a string of the most extraordinary singers, players and dancers the BlueGrass Mountains had to offer. Many later became famous. Some were never heard from again. Most of the songs are classics, including Lunsford's own tune, "Mountain Dew." When this film aired on Public Television in 1965, TV Guide gave it a full-page positive review, because Americans had never seen a documentary on the roots of Bluegrass and Country music. PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Song: OLD MAN ON THE BACK PORCH Dig it! :D I made this crazy creation in the grand summer of 2005, after watching 3 strait seasons of South Park. :D. Took a total of five days in photoshop and windows movie maker, but it created something that will be stuck in my head until the day I die. I entered it in a student film festival in 2006 and won first place in the Experimental category! That was awesome, and there were some great videos in that festival. :) This Most brilliant song is by PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, because they kick ass. AND the song in the credits is Funky Town by Lipps Inc a quick note: Hey guys, there have been a few comments questioning the quality of this vid. ;) No hard feelings to anyone, i like critique, and i'm flattered and jazzed by all your comments !! Seriously, it makes my day that you giggle a bit at this thing. An eagle, a fox and my cat all getting along fine on my porch
First of all just let me explain the hot water heater! My hot water heater leaked and flooded my kitchen and so I just went through getting it replaced. We have had so much snow (it's melting now) that it was too hard to carry it through all the snow to get to the landfill so it and other building materials are hanging out on my porch until more snow is gone. See how the fox, eagle and cat are all just fine hanging out and no one is trying to attack anyone and they are getting along just fine? Notice the eagle in the background on the lamp post down by the street. That is the partner to this eagle. They aren't always out to attack and kill each other. Our fox and eagles and cats basically get along just fine here. Sometimes if there is food they might fight over the food some. I live in Unalaska, Alaska in the Aleutian Islands. Also, earlier in the day when the fox first came Gizmo my cat went right up to the fox and told him to leave. It was too funny! But the fox came right back!

My Cats Hanging Out with the Eagles
I had gone on a short errand and when I came home I found the cats hanging out with these 2 eagles. During the summer these same two eagles hang out on my porch about every day like it is their own private perch. They also have claim to the lamp post across the street from my house. I just happened to have my FlipVideo on me so I thought I would take a short video to show everyone that the eagles have no interest in eating my cats. The cats sometimes look at the eagles like they would love to catch that big bird but the cats know they don't stand a chance to even try. Look at the video of Suitcase getting slapped by the eagle(that was the last time he tried to catch one). I have also been trying to figure out which eagle is the female and which is the male and I think the braver one that never flies away is the female and the smaller, more scared one is the male. They sit on the porch rail and watch me in my kitchen for hours! I love the sounds they make!
