This is an acoustic version of "Life During Wartime" by Pinhead Gunpowder. It was recorded by Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, who plays guitar and sings in PHGP. The song's from their 1996 album "Goodbye Ellston Avenue", and it was written by Aaron Cometbus. This recording is from 2003 I believe. I made this video in 2007, right before Pinhead Gunpowder announced they would be going on tour for the first time in years. I wanted to make an anti-war/anti-Bush video that would go along to the song. There weren't any at the time, I searched on here and found nothing. There were some that had the song playing to one war image, etc. So I searched for hours for pictures, and spent a long time making them change to match the lyrics perfectly when the song played. The video got pretty popular, had about 35000 views at the time. The Huffington Post wrote an article about the band going on tour, and posted my video - linking to my YouTube account as well. Which was pretty cool. Then Warner Music Group suddenly ended their copyright agreement with YouTube, and started removing any videos that contained stuff that they owned the copyright to. Which, of course, included anything Green Day. My username at the time was BillieJoesEntourage, and I had a popular channel. I also had many Green Day related videos, so they permanently deleted my account for copyright infringement. *sigh* And by then, other people were copying my video (like, literally finding the same images that I used in ...
