2003 - The Plot / The Plot was a heavy rock band formed in 2003 by bassist Pete Way and his long time friend, guitarist Michael Schenker. The two wanted to form a band like UFO again and asked Phil Mogg and Andy Parker to regroup with them, but tension was still fiery between the ex-bandmates, although Way, Schenker and Mogg had been involved in recording as UFO for the album Sharks in 2002. So instead, Way and Schenker recruited drummer Jeff Martin. This band released one album, also entitled The Plot."We decided to release The Plot at this time for several reasons. A bootleg of The Plot was becoming very available throughout the world. We wanted to get the proper version out there before it was too late. It is great finally see this record released. Michael and I are very proud of it," Way said in an interview about his reunion with Schenker. / Peter 'Pete' Frederick Way (born 7 August 1951, in Enfield, Middlesex) is a bass player. He is the bassist of UFO, Waysted and formerly, Fastway and Ozzy Osbourne.Way began his career as a studio musician for many artists. He played in bands with friends from high school and later created a band with friends Phil Mogg, Andy Parker and Mick Bolton. This became the original UFO lineup. Lights Out is the sixth studio album by the British rock band UFO, released in May and also on October 11, 1977 (see 1977 in music). All songs are band originals except for "Alone Again Or" which is a cover of a song by the band Love. In 1994, a CD comprising this album and No Heavy Petting was released by BGO Records. 2008 EMI's remastered edition includes 4 bonus tracks, recorded live at The Roundhouse, London in 1976, and also some writing credits are corrected. The title track and "Love to Love" were featured in the 1999 movie Detroit Rock City. "Love to Love" was also covered by Djali Zwan for the 2002 movie Spun.
