I actually like Linkin Park, believe it or not. Consider this like one of those Comedy Central celebrity roasts--it's all in good fun...that is, until Jeffrey Ross makes Bea Arthur cry. I wrote this song back in 2005! I decided to make a video for it when I heard they were releasing a new CD. Then I found out there was very little rap on Minutes to Midnight which pretty much rendered my song obsolete. But, what the hell, I decided to do it anyway. And, no, I don't think their CDs belong in the bargain bin although, being the cheapskate I am, I would very much like to find them there. OutKast is an American hip hop duo based in East Point, Georgia, consisting of Atlanta native André "André 3000" Benjamin (formerly known as Dré) and Savannah, Georgia-born Antwan "Big Boi" Patton They were originally known as Two Shades Deep but later changed the group's name to OutKast. GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK Arizona
The Grand Canyon National Park is the most beautiful and well-known nature reserve in the USA Its 5000 square kilometres covers more than 4 different climatic zones and rises to 2200 metres above sea level. The Grand Canyon is also Indian Territory, the Navajo, Hopi and Havasuapi Indians still inhabit this region. Neatly piled one above the other, the Grand Canyon features 12 geological layers of various time periods. Its time-span ranges from the fossil rich 250 million year old limestone of the Kaibab Plateau to the almost 2 million year old Vishu slate at the bottom of the ravine. The Colorado River created this natural masterpiece in less than 10 million years, with severe heat and extreme cold eroding the rock, followed by rainfall that drove it down into a mighty river. Up to 1600 metres deep and averaging 16 kilometres wide, the incredible dimensions of this huge abyss are difficult to comprehend, the descent into the canyon being like a journey into the Earth's distant past. The rays of the sun make the geological strata appear brown from above and green and blue from below. The cream-colored strata in the upper parts of the valley walls contain fossils of sponges, corals, snails and crustaceans. The beige-colored sandstone contains fish skeletons and in the purple limestone, there are the impressions of water lilies and primitive crustaceans, with green slate revealing traces of mussels and worms. At the bottom of the canyon, there are no further signs of life ...
EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK Florida
The Everglades Nature Park is located in the far south of Florida and covers an area of around 3500 square kilometres. Beyond the protection of the park, the neighboring swamps are a major fascination of this region. The textures of the landscape are both rugged and soft and its infinite waterways and riverbanks conjure up a strong sense of adventure. There are alligators, raccoons, pelicans, heron, ibis, and 275 species of fish including the manatee, a docile sea cow that weighs well over a ton, as well as more than 400 species of bird. There's a replica of an original Miccosukee Indian village that has been transformed into an historical museum. The tiny settlement also contains a variety of well-stocked shops with an array of traditionally crafted Indian products. An unusual vehicle that seems to be related to a tractor, but a more elevated version, is an ideal way to journey through the thick mud of the swamp, passing raccoons and even alligators along the way. Numerous legends surround these mysterious, natural swamps, and some of the faces of its natural inhabitants, alligators, raccoons and birdlife, reflect the stories and history of this unique, highly atmospheric and fascinating nature park.
