One
www.americanparkour.com http From www.youtube.com The following video was compiled from a single take of a parkour run through Lisses, France. The original run took approximately nine minutes, and has been shortened only at two points. It was filmed with an HD GoPro headcam set to record 30 fps at 1080p, and edited using FinalCut Pro. Locations featured include Place de Chevreuse (white walls), Le Long Rayage, Gymnasium (brown staircase), Ecole F. Mistral (rooftops and pink walls), Parc du Lac, and La Dame du Lac. I originally intended on perfecting and polishing this run over a period of two weeks before filming. However, injury prevented me from doing so, so instead what you see is a record of my one and only attempt. Therefore, this is a true representation of the level my parkour, with no pacing and no second chances, and with all the hesitations and mistakes implied. Please share your thoughts ...

Team Traceur in Lisses (March 2006)
www.TeamTraceur.com TT were very excited to get the opportunity to train together in Lisses. We were even luckier to have met up with some of the great names in Parkour who showed us a few of their training methods and helped us improve on our own techniques. Inspired one night very late in the F1 hotel after watching a bunch of videos and the final one being David Belle's Parkour Nuit, we all headed out for a bit of a night session... ..The rest of the video was footage of the entire week we were there. I've divided the footage up to better organize the content and because there is some footage missing. I am calling this series "Parkour History" because it is a look back at a time that not many people have seen. We weren't doing anything special in this video. It was simply a moment shared with friends to enjoy and capture some things on film rather than a moment to make a real video. The energy was going everywhere, and not everyone was ready. There was still work to do. I hope you enjoy this look back at history. -David www.DavidBelle.com http www.Twitter.com www.YouTube.com _________________ David Belle | Founder of Parkour. Actor. Best of David Belle´s videos
www.parkour.pt the founder of parkour, shows how it´s done. parkour performed by david belle music "Show Me How To Live" - Audioslave this is not crazy jumping. it has human values and morals. It´s Called PARKOUR, There is also free running and other types of movement, but names don´t matter, the movements David Belle (and others) started to do, evolved to a worldwide community and it requires hard training and years of dedication. most of the things you see in this video look easy. But they are not. for example, the first jump you see in this video is around 5 meters high. (16.4 feet). that´sa lot for most humans. I´ve been there personally, And I can still remember myself hanging on that same wall looking down... it´s high. most of those jumps are gigantic. So please be careful. Enjoy.
