The Cupertino, California-based company said overnight the updated operating system, called Mountain Lion, will be available to Macintosh developers immediately and Mac owners can upgrade to the new software later in the year. LaunchPad gives you instant access to all of the apps you have downloaded onto your Mac by clicking on the LaunchPad icon on your computer's dock. The app setup looks a lot like iOS, and allows you to arrange applications and put them into folders for easy access and organization purposes. BLACKBERRYUNLOCKING.BIZ So your in front of your Mac, its asking for a password and you don't know it. Can you still get in? Yes you can, heres how. The first option, if you have access to you system disk then with that cd you can reset the password by booting from it (to boot from cd press the C key on startup) Visit this post for more details isgood.co.uk However if you don't have the cd The process below will allow you to create a new admin account and with that new account you will be able to login into your system. You don't loose your files, but you must make a unique username and NOT the same as what originally existed. Before you start this is what you should know about this procedure. What your about to do is delete a folder called AppleSetupDone. By removing this folder it will fool the system into thinking it has not yet completed the setup of creating a new user, so after the reset it will start asking you for your details, just like as if its the first time its running. Will you loose you files? To avoid confict you should create a unique account and not one of the same name as the system had previously. Once the new account has been created to get to the documents you have to goto the users folder and change permissions of the folder to get acess your previous documents. Today i show you how to edit host files using terminal allowing you to downgrade your idevice through itunes without being locked out on OSX Lion. Directions: Open Terminal in Spotlight Enter code: sudo nano /etc/hosts It'll prompt for your admin password, then it'll let you edit the file. When you're done. hit CTRL and X and it'll ask you to press 'y' to confirm you want to save the changes.
