A very rare song by Paul Jones (ex-Manfred Mann). Written by Buffy Sainte-Marie it was recorded July 17 1968 for the swedish radioshow Opopoppa, at Stockholm´s outdoor museum Skansen. Dedicated to swedish singer Lill Lindfors the orchestra is Lars Samuelsson´s Dynamite Brass. From the LP "Opopoppa", released in support of the suffering population of the conflict between Nigeria and Biafra.

DON PARTRIDGE: KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF HER
The king of the buskers and maybe the most famous one man band in England Don Partridge (1941-2010) was very popular in Sweden in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and this is a recording from the outdoor museum Skansen in Stockholm. The stage there is called "Solliden" and during the late 1960s and early 1970s there were live performances on radio and television under the name of "Opopoppa". He is introduced by the host Anders Gellner (who also was a member of the pop band "Science Poption" at the time) and he is also joined by bass player Sture Åkerberg. This is a live album recorded in 1968 and it was was sold and around half of the benefits went to the people who suffered in the war between Nigeria and Biafra.

Here´s Otis Redding´s wellknown Sittin on the dock of bay. The seven songs were presented in this order: 1. Show Business 2. Cry like a baby 3. Sittin on the dock of bay 4. Hold me 5. Actually it is a medley, Going out of my head is followed by Hurt so Bad, both recorded by Little Anthony The Imperials. Only Somewhere remains to be uploaded on Youtube, and hopefully that will happen very soon. Here the photos are from swedish magazines. As the story goes bandleader Lasse Samuelsson, talking with Proby on the phone before the show, asked what key the band should play? -I can sing in every key, Proby answered.
