The OFFS Zero Degrees
The Offs are a punk/ska band from San Francisco, started by guitarist Billy Hawk and singer Don Vinil, and later joined by former Hot Tuna drummer Bob Steeler and a rotation of horn players including Bob Roberts, Richard Edson and Roland Young. The Offs were major players in the early days of the San Francisco punk rock scene. [edit] History The Offs first record was a self-released 7" single featuring a cover of the Slickers' Johnny Too Bad with the Billy Hawk-penned 624803 on the B-side. A subsequent release was the 1978 single Everyone's a Bigot, with 0° on the B-side, which was the first-ever release out of San Francisco's 415 Records.[1][2] That song later appeared on the Alternative Tentacles hardcore/art punk compilation Let Them Eat Jellybeans.[3] Another early release was, "You Fascinate Me." Lead singer Don Vinil was known for his outrageous on-stage behavior. Fellow San Francisco punk group, Dead Kennedys played their first show with the Offs in 1978. They frequently played at San Francisco's Mabuhay Gardens. The Offs also went through a number of bassists, including Denny Boredom, Olga de Volga and Fast Floyd. Eric Peterson joined as bassist in 1980, just as the group decamped San Francisco for New York where they quickly became a regular fixture at such New York institutions as the Mudd Club, Danceteria and Max's Kansas City.

Jump Offs
Actor/stuntman Derrick Simmons makes his directors debut with this urban romantic comedy he wrote, produced and starred in. Six players with different types of game jump among relationships until sex, lies and betrayal turns 2 friends against each other. Malik (Derrick Simmons)has a nice all around game. When Oops (Derrick Simmons) sees a woman he likes, he hustles for her quick. Kenny's (AJ Ekoku) crossover moves are impressive, but he has problems crossing back. Ronnie's (Tim McAdams) afraid to show the other players his Down Low moves. Jim Jim (Walter Nichols) is a great liar. Bryant (Robert Parson) only dates women on the rebound.

A thrilling game, the 1998 play off final at Wembley. Clive Mendonca scores the first goal to put Charlton in the lead, Niall Quinn makes it 1-1 early in the second half. Then shortly after Kevin Phillips puts Sunderland in the lead, right before Mendonca scores his second. to make it 2-2. Quinn makes it 3-2 to Sunderland, then Richard Rufus scores to make it 3-3 and send the game into extra time. Nicky Summerbee scores to once again restore Sunderlands lead, before Mendonca completes his hat trick to send the game to penalties. Sunderland & Charlton go on to score their spot kicks to send it to sudden death, Michael Gray ended up missing his take and Charlton are promoted to the Premiership. Blackpool v West Ham at Wembley play-off final - fan highlights!
A victorious West Ham beat Blackpool at Wembley with a late goal from Ricardo Vaz Te in the 88th minute, that was to break the hearts of the Tangerines. After months and months of football, the long Championship journey that started last August for both West Ham and Blackpool, came to a climactic end with the highly anticipated Championship Play Off Final at Wembley Stadium, on Saturday, 19th May 2012. West Ham won an excess of at least £80 million and is granted promotion to the big time as they make their way into the Premier League to join football's elite. Considered a lottery by many, today's Play-Off produced some surprises. The victory for the Hammers is the perfect finale after a turbulent season that has had as many highs as it has had lows. New manager, Sam Allardyce has faced a fair amount of criticism for the style of play he has implemented on his West Ham team, but surely a victory today and an instant bounce back to the Premiership for West Ham will make the Hammers faithful forgive Big Sam for the direct and long ball style that has been adopted by the Irons this season. West Ham have proved to be consistent for the majority of the season, however many fans were hoping that promotion would not have to be achieved this way and they of course would have preferred the more comfortable and less stressful route of automatic promotion.
