RIKKI DON'T LOSE THAT NUMBER (1974) by Steely Dan
'Rikki Don't Lose That Number' was off Pretzel Logic, and appears to be a favourite of Steely Dan fans. It was released in 1974, and had several musicians outside the band helping out. Michael Omartian plays keyboard, Dean Parks acoustic guitar, Jim Gordon drums, Victor Feldman percussion, and the Eagles' Timothy Schmit on backing vocals. I have done a slideshow video featuring most of these guest musos, as well as the usual Dan suspects, Donald Fagen, Walter Becker and Jeff Baxter (Denny Dias was not on the track). I tried to include images of Steely Dan and Donald Fagen album covers. I also obtained an add on to Windows Movie Maker, which gives a few more panning and zoom options. This is the first video using those. Comments are invited.
