There are few clips of the early Joy Division when they were known as Warsaw. I have uploaded all of the songs from the album with no copyright infringment intended. Novelty Theory
The theory proposes that the universe is an engine designed for the production and conservation of Novelty. Novelty, in this context, can be thought of as newness, or extropy... when "novelty" is graphed over time, a fractal waveform known as simply the timewave results. The graph shows at what time periods, but never at what locations, novelty increases or decreases... The graph of extropy had many enormous fluctuations over the last 25000 years, but amazingly, hit an asymptote at exactly December 21, 2012... In other words, entropy (or habituation) no longer exists after that date. It is impossible to define that state.

A talk given over a weekend in summer 1998. These were originaly aired by Lorenzo on the 'Psychedelic Salon' podcast. Where the audio cuts from one part of the talk to the next are how they were presented except my moving the 4th podcast to the begining which is the true start of this talk, minus the audience introuducing themselves which was edited due to privacy. One of McKenna's ideas is known as novelty theory. It predicts the ebb and flow of novelty in the universe as an inherent quality of time. McKenna developed the theory in the mid-1970s after his experiences in the Amazon at La Chorrera led him to closely study the King Wen sequence of the I-Ching. Novelty theory involves ontology, extropy, and eschatology. The theory proposes that the universe is an engine designed for the production and conservation of novelty. Novelty, in this context, can be thought of as newness, or extropy (a term coined by Max More meaning the opposite of entropy). According to McKenna, when novelty is graphed over time, a fractal waveform known as "timewave zero" or simply the "timewave" results. The graph shows at what time periods, but never at what locations, novelty increases or decreases and is supposed to represent a model of history's most important events. Ben Selvin (March 5,1898 - July 15,1980), son of Russian-immigrant Jewish parents, was a musician, bandleader, record producer and innovator in recorded music. He was known as The Dean of Recorded Music. Selvin started his professional life at age 15 as a fiddle player in New York City night clubs. A "husky" lad, he looked older than he was and as such was permitted into such establishments. A mere six years later, as leader of his own dance band, the "Novelty Orchestra," Selvin released the biggest-selling popular song in the first quarter-century of recorded music. That single, Dardanella, eventually went on to sell more than 5 million copies and an additional 2 million pieces of sheet music. Oh man, I finally made my first VN. ;_; No choices or anything. Just a blurb here, a blurb there, and a few pictures here and there. The program unexpectedly crashed once, but I think that was just bad luck. Nothing frequent saving can't combat! Novelty sure has come a long way since it's first few months. With a program like this, even a monkey could make a VN. It has come a long way and it is way more intuitive to use now!
