Jangban Guksu (Buckwheat Soba Noodles in Spicy Sauce)
Korean soba noodles This can also be called Bibimguksu. Ingredients: Buckwheat noodles, Boiled egg, Vegetables: (Lettuce, Carrot, Apple, Pear, Cabbage, cucumber ect). Optional: Kim (seaweed). Sauce: 4 part Mirin, 2.5 part rice wine vinegar, 1 part honey powder, 1 part red pepper paste, 1 part red pepper powder, 1 part sesame seeds, 3/4 part sesame oil, 1/2 part Perilla oil, 1/2 part minced garlic, Make sauce ahead and chill in fridge. Sauce is very expandable you can make it for 1 or 100. Prepare vegetables (as much as possible cut into match sticks). If prepping pear or apple ahead of time place into a lemon water bath to prevent browning. Cook noodles per package directions (cook in water or stock). While noodles are cooking arrange vegetables around the plate. When noodles are done rinse them in cold water. Place cool noodles in center of plate, add sauce and half an egg. Optional add Kim.
Pasta Free Low Carb Spagetti Bolognaise
Shirataki Noodles (Konnyaku) are the super dupa wonder food pasta substitute. They are virtually carb and calorie free as they are 97% WATER. I did have a bit of trouble finding them. They are Japanese so the best place to find them is in a Japanese Supermarket. The packet I bought was only $2.30. If you love noodles or pasta then this is the perfect solution for you. This is a variation of the instant ramen noodles recipe. What's great about this one is that it starts out aa cold, sweet flavor...Then the heat kicks in. She like bathing, but dont like to be wet afterward. I dont blow dry my bird because it is not good for the feather and skin of the bird. It will dry his skin and make his feather more easy to break. The goal of the bath is to hydrate his itchy skin and make his feathers more flexible, a bit like nails after a bath. It's important to get the bird wet once a week (more in winter), but sometime, they dont want, and I just bring her in the bathroom while I am taking a shower, so she can get all the humidity of the room.

Okay, so his real name is like NuhNuh. But, I liked Noodle the Poodle better. Aaron's friend got a poodle from another friend and wanted Aaron to ahve it. The three of us spent the afternoon trying to get to know it. Noodle loved Aaron, and thought Bry and I were blonde freaks- a true fact- so he ignored us. The most attention we got from Noodle was when he tried to "climb" up Bry when she was sitting... until we realized Noodle was humping her. NOT COOL. We gave him a bath right before the video was sent made, and the point of the video was that he smelled even worse after the bath. The odd part... is that we used American Suave shampoo... which smelled like strawberries but second it came in contact with Noodle the whole bedroom and bathroom stunk of a weird chemical smell. I think this is a chemical emitted by the dog because he was afraid. But still... ew.

HIGH THROWING WANTAN MEE AT RESTAURANT CHAR SIEW ZHAI One of the unique selling point of this place is the way the noodle is prepared. After boiling the noodle and going through the standard quick bath of colder water (to make the outer layer more springy), they throw it up really high and before catching it on the sieve several times. Apparently this is done to get rid of most moisture so that the noodle absorbs sauce better. Char Siew Zhai offers a wide range of noodle and rice based dishes. They have wantan, dumpling, char siew (bbq pork), siu yok (roast pork), roast duck, curry chicken, chicken feet, stewed duck, fried pork, roast chicken, poached chicken, and shredded chicken served with noodle or rice. The char siu (bbq pork) is really good too, slightly different texture (rougher and less oily outer layer). Wantan and dumplings were pretty tasty.
