The full recipe is here: www.maangchi.com Spicy version Ingredients: 1 package of soybean sprouts (500 grams), water, salt, soy sauce, hot pepper flakes, onion, garlic, green onion, dried anchovies, roasted sesame seeds, and sesame oil. Directions: 1. Rinse and drain a package of soybean sprouts (500 grams) a few times over. Pick out any rotten sprouts. 2. Put the soybean sprouts into a pot and add 5½ cups of water. 3. Add 1½ ts salt, 1 ts soy sauce, 2 cloves of minced garlic, ½ tbs of hot pepper flakes. 4. Slice half a medium sized onion and put it in the pot. 5. Add a handful of dried anchovies (about 7 large dried anchovies) after removing the intestines. *tip: this is going to be taken out later, we won't eat it 6. Close the lid and bring to a boil over medium heat for about 15 minutes. 7. When the soup boils over, open the lid and stir the soup with a spoon. 8. Lower the heat and cook another 25 minutes. 9. Add 2 chopped green onions and 1 or 2 ts of sesame oil. 10. Turn off the heat. 11. Grind roasted sesame seeds in a grinder. 12. Put the soup in a bowl and sprinkle some sesame seed powder on top, just before serving. In this video I'm going to show you how to make 2 kinds of naengmyeon: mul naengmyeon (soup-based naengmyeon) and bibim naengmyeonis (hot spicy naengmyeon). NGREDIENTS: 1. SPICY VEGETABLE FRIED NOODLES 1 pack Ching's Secret Veg Hakka Noodles 2 tbsp Ching's Secret All in One Sauce 1 tbsp Ching's Secret Schezwan Sauce ½ tsp Ching's Secret Dark Soy Sauce ½ tsp Ching's Secret Chili Vinegar 1 carrot 1 spring onion 1 capsicum 1 onion 5-6 french beans ¼ medium cabbage ½ cup mushrooms sliced 2 tbsp oil. Directions: 1.Combine 2 cups of all purpose flour with ¾ cup water, ½ ts salt, and 1 TBS of vegetable oil in a large bowl. Knead by hand for 10-15 minutes until the dough gets softer and sticks together firmly. 2.Put the dough into a plastic bag and keep it in the refrigerator. *tip: Using a food processor is very convenient and saves time. If you use a food processor, use the dough blade and knead all the above ingredients for 1 minute until the dough sticks together and gets lumpy. Let's make stock: 1.Place 10 cups of water in a large pot. Add about 4×6 inch square of dried kelp, and 10 dried anchovies (with the heads and guts removed). 2. Bring it to a boil for 15-20 minutes over medium high heat, then lower the heat to simmer for another 20 minutes. 3. Turn the heat off and take the anchovies and kelp out. 4. Peel 2 medium sized potatoes and cut them into 6-7 chunks each. Add them to the pot. 5. Add a half cup of sliced onion and 3 cloves of minced garlic to the pot. 6. Cottage Cheese Balls in Spicy Sauce Chinese Style Gujarati
COTTAGE CHEESE BALLS IN SPICY SAUCE CHINESE STYLE 1 pack Ching's Secret Schezwan Sauce Mix 100 gms cottage cheese/paneer 2 medium size potatoes boiled Salt and pepper to taste 1 medium onion diced 1 medium carrot diced 1 spring onion chopped for garnish 450 ml of water ½ cup corn flour Oil to deep fry Method: Grate or mash the paneer and boiled potatoes together and mix well. Make small bite size balls with the mixture. Coat the balls with the corn flour Deep fry to make them crispy. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the vegetables and stir fry for 1 min. add water and entire content of Ching's Secret Schezwan Sauce mix and cook for about 1 min or till the sauce get thick. www.maangchi.com Ingredients: Kkwarigochu (shishito peppers), flour, garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, green onions, dried anchovies, soy sauce, honey, and hot pepper flakes. Directions: Prepare 300 grams (about 10 ounce : 0.7 pound) of kkwarigochu and remove the stems from each pepper. Wash the peppers and strain them. Place the strained peppers in a large bowl and add 3 tbs flour (use 1 tbs flour for every 100 grams of kkwarigochu). Mix it up with your hands until the peppers are coated in flour. Put 1 cup of water in a steamer pot and boil it over high heat. After the water boils for a few minutes, put the peppers into the steamer and steam for 5 minutes over high heat. *tip: Don't overcook them, otherwise they'll turn out mushy Turn off the heat, take off the lid, and set aside. Put a pan on the stove over medium heat. Add 1 ts sesame oil and 2 cloves of minced garlic to the heated pan. Stir for a few seconds with a wooden spoon. Add 6 large dried anchovies with the heads and guts removed and stir for 10 seconds. Add ¼ cup water, 3 tbs soy sauce, and 1 ts honey (or sugar) and stir. Lower the heat and simmer the sauce for 1-2 minutes. Add 3 ts hot pepper flakes and mix it up with a wooden spoon. *tip: The amount of hot pepper flakes you use depends on your taste. Spicy Sweet Potatoes
A delicious side dish that is spicy and sweet. Super easy and requires ingredients that you probably already have on hand. Adapted from a recipe on Pinterest. 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1" cubes 2 -1/2 Tablespoons olive oil 2-1/2 Tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon chili powder ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper Honey Put sweet potatoes that have been peeled and cubed in a bowl. Combine olive oil, brown sugar, chili powder, salt and cayenne pepper with the potatoes and stir well. Let sit on counter for 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes to make sure everything is well coated. Spray a cookie sheet or line it with non-stick aluminum foil. Use a cookie sheet that has sides. Let's start! First step: make stock 1. Pour 7 cups of water into a pot. Add 10 large dried anchovies (after removing heads and guts), a handful of dried kelp, half a medium sized onion, and 3 dried shiitake mushrooms. 2. Boil it for 10 minutes over high heat. Then lower the heat to low-medium and boil for 30 minutes more. Then set it aside Second step: make mixture of hot pepper flakes and vegetable oil 1. Sweet & Spicy Chicken Wings
Ingredients: 1 tsp Chings Secret Soy Sauce 4 tbsp Chings Secret All in One Sauce 1 cup Broccoli cut into bite size flowerets 1 bunch Spinach Leaves 4 sprigs of Asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces ½ cup button mushrooms, cut into halves 1 tbsp chopped Garlic ½ tsp white pepper 2 tbsp vegetable oil Salt to taste Red chilli flakes to garnish Method: Thoroughly wash all the vegetables, drain and keep aside. Boil water in a heavy bottom pan. Blanch broccoli, asparagus and mushrooms in the boiling water one by one and refresh them in cold running water, drain and keep aside. Dont over cook. Heat 2 table spoons of oil in a heated frying pan; add garlic and sauté for about half a minute. Add all the vegetables while stirring continuously, put flame on simmer. Add Chings Secret All in One Sauce, Chings Secret Soy Sauce, a pinch of salt and white pepper and mix well. Cook while stirring till all the vegetables get coated with the sauce. Ingredients for ginkgo nut skewers: Vegetable oil, ginkgo nuts, skewers, salt. Avocado appetizer: 1. Skin avocados and slice them into several pieces. 2. Make batter by mixing 1/3 cup of water, 1/3 cup of flour, 1 clove of chopped garlic, and 1 ts of soy bean paste. 3. Crack an egg into a bowl and add a pinch of salt. Mix it up. 4. Heat up the pan with some vegetable oil. 5. Dip sliced avocado into the batter and then coat them with the egg mixture. Put them on the pan and cook until both sides look light golden brown. 6. Transfer cooked avocado to a serving plate and serve. Ginkgo nut skewers: 1. Heat up pan over medium heat and put in 1 tbs of vegetable oil. 2. Add a handful of ginkgo nuts and 2 ts of salt to the pan. 3. Stir them with a wooden spoon until the inner skins of ginkgo nuts are broken. 4. Wrap the cooked ginkgo nuts in a paper towel and rub it the top to remove the inner skins. 5. Skewer gingko nuts and serve them.

Today we are making a Korean Spicy Rice Cake dish called Dukbokgi and it's being served with water kimchi. Please watch my other videos! Ingredients: - 8 oz of tube shaped Rice Cake (Any shape of Rice Cake works) - *Optional* 20 Pieces of Fish Cake - *Optional* A few ounces of any kind of Beef - 1/2 of an Onion - 1/4 piece of Cabbage - 1/2 of a Carrot - 1 Green Onion - 2 Tbsp of Red Pepper Paste (Gochujang) - *Optional* 1 Tbsp of Crushed Red Pepper (Gochugaru) - 1 tsp of minced Garlic - 2 Tbsp of Sugar - 1/2 Cup of Chicken Broth - 2 tsp of Soy Sauce - 2 tsp of Crushed Red Pepper - 2 tsp of Sesame Seeds - Boil 5 cups of water for Rice Cake. - Slice vegetables all around the same size. - Cook Rice Cake for 3 minutes and then rinse in cold water. - Combined ingredients to make Sauce and bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer until sauce thickens. - Add meat and cook for about two minutes. - Add all the vegetables, rice cake, and fish cake and cook for about 2-3 more minutes. - Finish with green onions and sesame seeds. - Serve hot. This dish is for vegetarians also. You don't need to add any beef, but I like to add beef in mine. This might be a bit spicy for those who don't like spicy foods. Spicy Skillet Supper Ingredients: 1 lb. ground meat 1 can (15 1/2 oz.) chili beans in chili sauce, undrained 1 1/2 cups cooked brown rice 1 cup salsa (Mild or medium) 1 tbs. vinegar 2-3 tsp. chili powder 1 finely chopped shallot 1-2 crushed cloves garlic 1 tsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. ground cumin 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 cup shredded cheese Directions: Coat skillet with non stick spray. Brown meat, garlic and shallot over medium heat, drain if necessary. Add chili beans, rice, salsa and seasonings. Mix well, bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Top with cheese, cover and let cheese melt. (About 5 minutes) Enjoy!!!
